  1. Does anyone have examples of letters friends and/or family wrote for them for the interview about your relationship authenticity?
  2. As for as the photo goes that's exactly what my fiancé did (in Santa Cruz del sur). He sent me the the copy of the photo he took for the interview. Worked perfectly.
  3. I marked no for mine because additionally, they ask for the branch, rank/position, & specialty and I didn't think it was applicable.
  4. I just accepted a new position at the university I work for. I don't start until Sept. 11 because of my upcoming trip, should I include my offer letter for my affidavit? I will be making more money.
  5. Do our fiance's have A# for the i-134? I left it blank but I read in this thread that the NOA2 has an A#
  6. Thanks so much. and yes, I am flying out next Saturday! Did you have any issues in Cuba with your visa or with any of Trump's supposed changes?
  7. Hi guys...13 more days till our interview, OMG! For those who've been interviewed and approved, on the I-134 question 26 did you write your beneficiary's name? It says "I have submitted a visa petition(s) to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on behalf of the following persons." Also for question 38, did you check "I intend" or "I do not intend?" I keep reading conflicting answers. Thanks!
  8. I do have a cosponsor but she is only willing to give me her tax returns for 2016 and 2015. Not sure if that is significant supporting documents.
  9. I have a joint sponsor because although I am working full time and make enough for the 125% poverty guidelines, last year I only worked 15-20 hours a week so my tax returns do not reflect my current income. It was suggested that I have a co-sponsor so I do. She is only willing to give me her 2016 and 2015 tax returns and the filled out i-134. Would this suffice? Our interview is in Havana Cuba.
  10. I just got his sisters 2016 and 2015 tax returns. Will this suffice as evidence for a joint sponsor? I am doubtful she will send me anything else.
  11. We didn't have any one to co-sponsor because his sister pulled out last minute from helping us **sigh** I might have my sister co-sponsor. I thought she couldn't because she sponsored my stepfather but I read it was perfectly ok if her income allowed it (which it does).
  12. Prepping our I-134. last year I was only working part-time and at a lower salary I made about 10k. This year was when I began actually working full-time after graduating and my annual salary without deductions is 25,056 which is enough for the 125% poverty guideline for 2 people. I have a letter from my employer, but it is not reflected on my income tax returns/w-2. I also, plan on including my last 6 pay stubs but they only show what I make with deductions which is below the guidelines. What do they look at most? Annual gross salary or your salary with the deductions?
  13. Our K1 interview is on the 21st so I am preparing our affidavit documents. Last year I was only working part-time and at a lower salary I made about 10k. This year was when I began actually working full-time and my annual salary without deductions is 25,056 which is enough for the 125% poverty guideline for 2 people. I have a letter from my employer, but I am scared since I didn't make enough last year that we can get denied. I also, plan on including my last 6 pay stubs but they only show what I make with deductions which is below the guidelines. What do they look at most? Annual gross salary or your salary with deductions? Thanks.
