BTW....it was you who alerted me to the updated processing times  (when they changed those two weeks last month). I am truly grateful.....

The "normal processing times" has now changed to February 1st.....

I, for one, am amazed it takes 6 months to get the background checks done and receive a piece of paper.....

I am rooting for you and everyone else here waiting for that golden piece of paper....

Fresh news from Interview- my visa was approved  it went very smooth, took 2 hours in the embassy. If anyone want I can describe step by step how it was. Im so happy and relieved  now time to go home!

Yep, and it was great you could squeeze through that small window they opened for such a short time :wacko:

This whole process is a great misery indeed, with what seem simple things taking forever. But I guess it all comes down to their backlog... except for those cases like yours left behind, who knows why.

Thank you for the support. I might be getting a golden ticket any day now... Or maybe not :huh:

Hello, guys, 

 

How are you? Hope everyone is getting their approvals and are in the process of moving forward!! I am flying to the states today in a few hours. I am excited to finally close this distance and happy but I am also sad because I am leaving basically everything. It is a bittersweet feeling. (and, yes I am a very sensitive person) 

 

I hope everyone is doing well and staying strong while this hard part of K1 process is done. We have been waiting for more than 5 years for this. If you really love the wonderful person you are with, see them in your future and can see yourself in their future and if both of you are happy together, stay atrong for those reasons. Do not give up because the waiting gets hard. I cannot tell you the times I felt like this is something that is never going to happen. But, that moments pass so quickly because at the end of the day, you know you want to be with the person you love. And, if your relationship pass the test of distance, that means you have the strength to grow through any challenges as a couple. Do not let any paperwork or waiting scares you or stop you. Do not give up. Stay strong. Try to remain positive. You will be rewarded with the best! 

 

Sending warm hugs and love to all of you. Good luck to each one of you. Sending my best wishes. Love you guys. This community is amazing. So grateful for all of you.

WE ARE APPROVED!!!!! She had her interview today and she was approved, Im so happy and cant wait to have her here. All the rest of Feb filers, dont lose hope approvals are right around the corner.

on the most recent review, apparently the interview is supposed to be booked as a non-immigrant visa. I think I booked mine as an Immigrant visa! This is confusing. How do you know which type it is booked as?! Can anybody from Canada help

My fiance passed her interview.  She said she overheard many people being denied so she was scared. I'm so happy she can finally come to America.
