That's good news.

I'm waiting for an update on my cases...hopefully soon.

I heard that it can take months from your status update" Case ready for interview' until the actual interview.

Hello everyone,

 

Called USCIS not too long ago and spoke to a nice rep. I just asked for a more detailed update about my AED since its been 79 days. She checked and since more than 75 days she created a service request for the application. Hoping to hear from them soon. Crossed fingers here! :)

AOS 2017: 

2/2/2017: AOS, AED and AP sent to USCIS Chicago via Fedex

2/6/2017: AOS, AED and AP received and signed. 

2/10/2017: Fingerprint fee received

2/14/2017: NOA1 received through text and email

2/14/2017: Cheque was encashed

2/17/2017: NOA1 hard copies received for AOS, AED and AP via mail. 

2/21/2017: Called USCIS to update DOB on AED due to typo error on NOA1 hard copy received.

3/11/2017: DOB updated in AED

3/11/2017: Biometric letter received via mail. 

3/21/2017: Biometric scheduled and DONE in York, PA.

4/26/2017: Called USCIS for service request on AED since Its more than (75 days). Rep provided a reference #.

4/27/2017: (AED)Service request completed

5/3/2017: (AED) Card Is Being Produced 

5/8/2017: Approval notice for both AED and AP received through mail. 

5/8/2017: Card Was Mailed To Me 

5/10/2017: Combo Card (AED & AP) received

6/24/2017: (Greencard) Card is being Produced | NO INTERVIEW

Thank you so much! I did believe him but he came to US totally different, from the arrival he wanted to travel back, I didn't think it was serious, I thought he is homesick and can wait for the Advance Parole. Oh well, everything changed after he got his fiance visa and came here, I tried.

I am happy you guys were all able to successfully submit an inquiry regarding your EADs! Hopefully you all get a response soon and it won't be too much longer until you receive them! Best of luck!

i just submitted an EAD expedite request based on Financial Loss / current valid job offer I've just received today. The lady on the phone was very nice and very helpful and submitted my request. I was told I'll hear back from USCIS within the next 5 days via email and to respond accordingly. Let's hope for the best, the start day is May 14th already...

Another update - my EAD/AP Card arrived today! 

It was sent Monday evening and delivered this afternoon (less than 2 days)

Very excited to start work and be able to travel!

 

Hope everyone else starts getting theirs soon!

I just tried to call and submit a service inquiry and the lady was polite but absolutely refused to do it for us :/ we are on day 88! She said since the website says they are processing December 3, we cannot submit a service inquiry. I quoted the website and how it states after 75 days you can call and she said that's only if you submitted on or before December 3 :/

guess I'll try again later

 

on a positive note, my husband got his driver's license yesterday! One more step to independence!

Call again and see if you get another person on the phone. One person may refuse to do it and the next one will gladly help. Service requests don't really guarantee anything but it certainly doesn't hurt to try. Make sure to quote the USCIS website where it says that you can submit a service request after 75 days.

Typically, when your case is updated to "ready for interview" it means your application has left the NBC and is at your local CIS office. The timeline will therefore depend on where your local office is. Below are current estimates for different offices, compiled from VJ member data:

I hate this waiting game....

 

No changes since February 13 for AP and EAD and No changes since March 15 RFE response. Also they messed up the expedite twice where they sent me the email to the wrong address so I could never respond with my job offer wich made me lose the job 😒 Now they finally told me the fax number via phone and the Attention to add with the cover letter. Now it's day 8 after they received my fax and still nothing has changed. It is just frustrating....

It's been 62 days since I submitted my AOS and EAD application to USCIS. I hope to hear something from from them about my EAD soon.

Otherwise I'll submit a service request on day 76 or day 77.

Do I have to call USCIS for the request or do I have the possibility to do it online?
