As person above said it seems like you can do it online, but the person on the phone did it for us.

On your biometrics letter it says what to bring. The letter itself and your passport. It's not an interview, they wont ask questions. It's just fingerprints and picture taken and then your signature. You should be fine.

Thankx for the reply :)

Regarding the case update request: 75 days since they received the case or since the NOA? Is that only for EAD or can you request an update for AP?

75 days from the receipt date listed on the noa1, I believe it's only available for ead, but ends up being for both since it's most likely a combo card

Silent reader - wanted to share my experience to-date for me and my wife. I am on H1B Visa from Pakistan, and applied for Green Card:

Perm Approved: Nov'2016

I-140, I485, I-131, I-765 Filed - 2/7/2017 Priority Date

I-140 Premium Processing approved - 2/20/2017

EAD Received for Wife: 2/27/2017

EAD Received for me: 3/22/2017

Biometrics done: 3/10/2017

No update yet - everything has happened so quickly, so I am hoping for a quick response on I-485 as well. Anyone has similar timeline?

Thanks

You're in the wrong section. Most of us here, if not all are adjusting from a family based visa. You seem to be in a while different category and if I'm not mistaken your case is treated 100% different.

I did not expedite because of job offer, but because my husband and I had unplanned crucial medical expenses a little after he arrived. I send my congress man my credit card statements along with my pay stubs for both my jobs.

Since it's a combo card they won't send you the AP by itself, just a NOA2. Wait a few days and also your EAD will say it's approved. If not, call USCIS.
