You are correct. I would get her back ASAP. There is no trusting what will happen tomorrow.

The only thing I will say in that regard is that Trump is not a career politician and has no experience in any political matters. The order has many flaws that most politicians probably wouldn't make. That being said, his cabinet should have intervened.

Agreed. He never discussed it with the DOJ or DOS either, who probably could have quickly altered it to remove some of those flaws (albeit I think the whole ban based on nationality by EO is illegal in itself).

The ACLU cannot revoke an executive order. Neither can the judge that says she's blocked it.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

So how come many of the people that were detained are already reunited with their families? Just a question help me understand I don't want to give hope if there's none.

They absolutly can if it is deemed unconstitutional, or against US law.

In other news, they just announced that Green Card holders will no longer be affected by this dumb @$$ policy going forward, but who knows if they change this again:

So then what of those who already have had reprieve with it?

They aren't being turned loose. The measure means detained travellers cannot be deported back to their home countries. but it does not force authorities to allow them into the US. Two of 12 refugees held at JFK airport were released, after 14 and 24 hours respectively. Not so many, really

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

NO, they cannot. They can pass judgement all they like, but they cannot overturn it.

It was a stay on the order, the only people that are allowed in the US were those already in the US being detained at the border. If CBP feels they need to be held for longer, they can.

NO ONE should be allowed on planes as of yesterday, and if they get in after this stay was signed and were not in the original detained bunch, they will be held or turned back around. Overall, they shouldn't be allowed on the plane to begin with.

The only stragglers per say should say be those who are coming in by car from mexico or canada, green card holders but from the banned countries. There will be a point where NO ONE from the banned countries should be on a plane to come in. That's what the goal in this whole scheme is..

I know at the moment they are saying that some elderly iranian folk are trying to be sent back at San Fran airport.

just read DHS position on things.  They both confirmed the order and denied it all in the same statement.  Incredibly confusing.

They can say they'll let GC holders in, but at the end of the day the EO says it affects all non-USC's and all "aliens" which a green card holder is considered under.

I see CBP officers taking advantage of this. They're literally giving them the "it's totally okay to hold them, no worries" but then telling us that you can get through with a GC and be from one of those countries.

Clearly they think we're all stupid.
