Going home now. It's a pretty good day. Got scheduled for psych eval on July 5 (not too bad since my interview won't be until the 20th), but I feel confident. It's just an interview and if (when!!! :P) the doc sees that I am mentally and emotionally stable, I'll be able to get my results and vaccines after 3 days.

This is just a small bump in the road. The most important thing is that my xray results are clear. No sputum test for me! Whew!

Good luck everyone! Have a great weekend!

Das war eine schwere Geburt ..

but sometimes things like that just don't make sense in English

haha I like the german version better! Makes more sense, its more like it was a difficult birth. I cannot find another saying in english that would have the same meaning. I miss speaking german. Thanks for the taste ;)

I know the wait is so much shorter now,  but I feel like when you know the interview date, the minutes that go by, feels like hours! I'm sure everybody feels this way too!

I totally agree with you here. My interview date is July 19th. We could have made it for sooner but that was the only week my hubby could get off to come with me for it. My medical is on Monday so I'm happy that that is coming up quick it just feels like it takes forever. On the other hand every minute him and I are together, it makes all the minutes that we're not worth it. At least at the end of this I know I won't have to say goodbye anymore.

Yup! Id did

So why is it a big deal in the Philippines to complete the medical in one day? I mean in all other countries no one ask that question, I was never told it could take more than one day. Why is it different?

Coz honestly the answer here always depends on the applicant. If the applicant us clean and all went fine with the medical then they can finish it one day if not they will be asked to go back the other day. What I noticed during the time of my medical if you went too early and finish the test for vaccination it will be either you will come back in the afternoon or the other day. If you got to the clinic around 7am then for sure you will go back the other day to complete it all.
