My sis PD is 04may but not Visa available

@Hassan JadoonDid you  call the NVC to confirm if visa is unavailable.. I think since her PD is 04may she supposed to receive interview letter  this week  or next for may interviewers.

My wife's PD is March 15th 2016 and she is still waiting for her interview letter. Is that normal? What do you guys think?

No one get IL still with pd May

Hey guys..My husband upgraded our cases to IR-1 as he is a US citizen now. He called up to make sure they received the documents for the upgrade and the officer offered to call him back...and within 2-3 days, we were informed the cases have been upgraded and that Abu Dhabi now needs to set out a date for our interview according to their office schedule...and that as soon as the date is confirmed, NVC will email/mail out the interview notice...which should be in about another week or so. We were advised to call back if we hear nothing within 2 weeks..

 

So relieved that the loooonnng wait is finally going to end and we get to be together   Wishing everyone good luck with their cases. I'll keep you updated on what happens next.

Wow, so till now no one after May 1, 2016 PD got an Invitation Letter. This is not normal, because usually around the first of each months the interviews are scheduled. Normally this would mean that the Visa Bulletin does not move at all, but, as far as I know, also other preference groups had no movement yet. It is impossible that they run out of visas for all categories so early in the year. Thus, not sure what this means. If anyone after May 1 get IL, please post here asap.
