Thanks....I receives it about an hour before I posted.

Thanks for letting me know!

Between just now and now I refreshed the webpage 10~15 times... I guess there is no hope there is new updates from the USCIS system now. Time for weekend! Have a good one!

I feel that there are quite some software engineers who could help USCIS to create a queuing system. USCIS are probably trying to maintain "first come, first served", but they are human, and the margin of error could be large. Computer software would be more accurate.

What's better: they can build some system to facilitate the information sharing between USCIS and NVC: it sounded surprising to me when I first heard it would take at least a week for them to share information.

I am sure helping them develop a system is also a great business opportunity for a software engineer!

I like this idea. BUT, unfortunately the us government is one of the most strict locations when it comes to budget. Everything and everyone is on a restricted budget. A new system like this would have to go through so many steps of process to get approved since they are a government agency, everything is public record. On top of that, none of us really know for sure what goes on in there. For all we know, they are all using state of the art technologies but there are so many steps and so many hands touch each case, maybe the fastest they can do it is 2 weeks since the NVC gets physical copies from USCIS. The part that bothers me is that we still have to sign physical papers, and MAIL it to them.

Scanning a list of K1s daily (for days USCIS works) ... then doing simple math. Others means things like Response for RFE, other updates like name or birth date, and so on

Geez they are working on Dec 21st, 22nd, 27th and 28th with multiple cases approved  but the 23rd only has one case touched. I feel like I'm in the wrong line at the supermarket.  Lol! Looks like we drew the dud.

Then last night Malen decided to pull an April Fools Joke on me that got me hook line and sinker. She posted on FB that she was going to be sent back to the Philippines for good. I was getting everything ready to transfer our paperwork to Manila when she let me in on her joke. Grrr! That's life on the wrong side of the date line.  😂 I'm always missing our monthaversary because of it. Have a great night everyone!

Hello,

Although I am joining this forum late, I sent in my K-1 application on Dec 20th thru FedEx and it was received on Dec 22nd. My case was approved on March 30th and it is being sent to the NVC. I get on VJ every day trying to find more info and what to expect. I am beyond nervous.
