I'm certain it has nothing to do with that. I used money order and it took 2 weeks. I'm now waiting to get my biometrics done on Tuesday

..

Exactly, that's why I made that comment coz I also believe it has nothing to do with what type of check was used :)

Hello November filers! So our 485 status just changed to "New Card Is Being Produced"  Our local office is Washington DC but we had no interview We are adjusting from K1 visa.

same here. We sent ours out late October and they received 11/02. We got our NOA1 11/16, exactly 2 weeks after they received.

Yup that's what I noticed from majority. Now I'm hoping I get the results before my eldest (K2) aged out..

In some cases you can file an I-130 for a kid to prevent him/her from overaging due to the Child Status Protection Act.

Hello,

We are hoping to file for AOS this week. We have a question about the G325a: Her maiden name is not written with the Roman Alphabet but there is also no spelling for her new last name. What opinions/facts/suggestions do you all have as to what we should do with this box? An internet search yielded an answer indicating that it isn't necessary now as her name is now written in English. I'd like second opinions!

What do u mean "no spelling"?

Nice to see you again, too :)

Sorry for not being so clear. I mean to say that my last name does not exist in Farsi but can be spelled phonetically. Do we even need to worry about writing her name in Farsi or just skip it? I've seen answers from leave it blank to write a hybrid version (Farsi and English).
