11/22/16 NOA Received via Text/Email

12/15/16 Biometrics complete

02/06/17: EAD card Being produced

02/09/17: EAD card mailed

02/16/17: EAD card received (with typographic error)

02/17/17: EAD Typographic error E-Request sent

02/21/17: EAD Correction application with documents mailed to NBC

02/24/17: EAD Packet signed by USCIS

03/14/17: Text/Email NOA

03/21/17: Hardcopy NOA received

03/25/17: Mailed out I-131

Hello November filers! So our 485 status just changed to "New Card Is Being Produced"  Our local office is Washington DC but we had no interview We are adjusting from K1 visa.

second parent approved gc from nbc without interview in june

2017-03-09 EAD and AP approved

2017-09-15 Green card approved, interview waived

 

ROC:

2019-08-12 Filed ROC (one day shipping)

2019-08-13 Application received at Lewisville, TX

2019-08-16 Received case number

2019-11-13 Biometrics appointment (Lubbock, TX)

2020-05-14 Case approved, interview waived

GOOD NEWS!

 

We got up early this morning with the intention of getting his SSN and applying for jobs online. We got to the office and they gave him his number..told him the card was mailed out last week. 

When we got home we saw the mail carrier sorting through her mail..she told us she already put in the letters but hadnt gotten to the packages yet (there are 900 apartments in my building)...so we checked and SS card was right there in the mailbox..woo hoo!

So we run upstairs and grab his other documents and decide to head out to the DMV to apply for the NYS ID

We wait THREE HOURS! 

Get to the agent and theres an issue because he doesnt have the actual i765 and he only had the approval stamp in his passport. So the guy agrees to give him a temp ID thats only valid for the days listed on the temp i765 stamp. So we take it and head home.

 

Hubby asks if he should check the mailbox again. I tell him he's being greedy. He ignores me and usual and the darn I-765 is right there in the mail LOL...and YES, His name is spelled correctly this time

 

Whew! Finally!

 

Now for that darn I-485....COME ON GREEN CARD! lol
