Yes, we are adjusting from K1.  Still have hope that the interview could get waived.

you'll get waived most definitely. Im adjusting from F1 so I'll have the interview for sure but we haven't heard from them. It's been more than 6 months.

approximately how long before trying to contact congressperson for 485 status being at fingerprint fee received. (biometrics were done).

There is no set time.  If you gave more information and completed your timeline it would be helpful and easier to answer your question.

We are also adjusting from F1 and still waiting for an update. On the plus side, our friends in Atlanta are also adjusting from F1 and filed at the start of September. They got the case ready for interview notice last month and have their interview tomorrow, so fingers crossed that we're about a month away from that notice and two months away from the interview! We recently submitted a case inquiry along with contacting our congressional representative for a congressional inquiry, so we are still waiting on responses to both of those (should hear something this week). Don't worry, I think our time is coming soon!

So....We contacted congressman last week. Filled out the form they requested. Havent heard anything back as yet.

Had an infopass appointment 6/12

The lady was kinda rude and seemed like she just wanted us out of her face. She had no interest in exploring why we didnt hear anything about the I-485.

I insisted that she check out his I-765 and figure out why it was taking so long. She then investigated it further. Sent USCIS "a message" to inquire about the card and stamped his passport with a temporary work permit thats good for 2 months with the immigration seal on it.

We went to Social security, he still cant get an SSN because his name is STILL INCORRECT in their system. ugh! They said wait 4 weeks and call back.

I'm with you, too.  Stuck on fingerprints received since 11/16.  Biometrics done back in December.  As a prior posters have said-- pinot grigio and vodka is the remedy to this waiting.  Speaking on behalf of Team Mexico, I say tequila works well, too! :)

Mine hasnt updated neither.

I stalk the mailman daily and alcohol definitely helps....unfortunately we both have gained weight because we've resorted to food to deal with our depressive situation.

So technically I filled the I-485 late October but I got a RFE on November 16th, 2016. The case updated on November 29th saying they got my response for evidence. My wife got her EAD/AP card around February 14th but we have not heard anything about an interview yet. We should be out of the Buffalo, NY office but it was last updated on April 30th and they were processing I-485 from the date they received my RFE which was Nov, 29th.

I would have thought I should have heard something by now. I know the case stopped when the RFE was requested but they stated they heard back and then I got the EAD/AP which means that things should have been OK as they processed those.

Should I be concerned yet?

Have you done an online case status inquiry?  If not, I would do that.

They received our RFE response December 22, 2016.  We had our I-485 intrview on 05/22/17 and received the greencard soon after.  It could be that your interview will be waived, sometimes that takes a bit longer to receive greencard.

Hello again, everyone.

We moved and changed our address. Our status has been interview waiting to be scheduled since after biometrics earlier this year. The status did not change but the date changed which we think means they updated the address.

Today we had a confusing message that said document was returned as it was undeliverable. We called (currently waiting on tier 2 call back) and the operator said no, the status should be "document was mailed to me." We are really unsure what is going on. Hopefully this is at the worst an interview letter and not a denial. I doubt it is a greencard.

What do y'all think?

Thanks all,

Harold Oakland

How would I do an online case status inquiry? Never mind I figured it out. Supposedly I will hear by July 11th.

Yeah..good luck...just make sure you stay on top of them. They'll claim they respond with emails that youll never receive.

We put in case inquiries.

Spoken to Tier 2 officers.

Went into infopass appointment.

Spoke to local congressman (sent over more documents today)

lol...at this point im willing to get naked and do a rain dance if it will help.
