K1 NOA2 -> NVC Fall 2016

I have noticed from what ive seen maybe only a tiny few have gotten their case numbers from noa2 of early october( 1 - 9) and mid october (10-18), could the fast speed uscis approvals be what is slowing down nvc? tomorrow ill be on day 19 but im sure some others on day 24 or so . Would of been nice to atleast track your case to keep the anxiety down?

Also does anyone know the time of day cases are received by nvc? all i know is apparently all cases that get approved on day V get mailed all at the same time , not sure tho if they get mailed on the same day they get approved

I can imagine that ill go even slower for november and december k1 filers

I don't have an answer to what time of day however I'd rather have a short USCIS and long NVC wait than the other way around because at least the stress of petition approval is over.

They told me to call back in 6 weeks.

Been calling every Monday and Fridays just to be extra sure. I dont mind the wait.

At least phase 1 (noa1 and noa2) have passed, you're basically set to go! Good luck guys! Love conquers all!

Of course!! I usually get lost in the abyss of so much topics and discussions. Do what I do, try calling on Mondays to get the first dibs on updates, then Fridays to make sure we didn't miss out on anything from the week.

I called them last night and waited 30mins to get to an agent. Did some house chores while waiting on speaker so it felt like a breeze. hehe I never received anything in the mail yet but they told me that should be following up later. Now im figuring out the next steps and when is the best time to gather other needed documents for the interview stage.

Our NOA2 date is 11/3. I'll be calling NVC in about 6 hours. Hoping to hear good news! Anyone else with a late October/early November NOA2 date have NVC news to report?

I'm extremely frustrated at this point. Its been 9 weeks since my petition approval by USCIS AND TILL DATE NVC is yet to receive my petition. I have called and emailed both NVC and USCIS repeatedly to no effect. I have even scanned my approval notice to NVC Over 2 weeeks back, still nothing. I read somewhere here to call USCIS nad request transfer to a tier 2 supervisor, which i did severally today, unfortunately i kept getting the automated message to set up a call back, which of course is impossible as im callinbg from overseas.

I dont know what to do at this point. Any advise on what to do to get some response from USCIS or at least speak with a live supervisor to track my petiton will be very much appreciated.

Just curious, why would they tell you to call back in 6 weeks? Thats a long time! For places like Chile's embassy once it gets to the embassy they set you with a date immediately, that date if you wait 6 weeks could be long gone. See you got it though! Congrats!

Its the standard of when it is possible that it would reach out there I guess and to refrain from annoying calls I guess on their end. But regardless, I still called beginning of the week and end of the week and got it pretty quickly.
