That's what I was afraid of - thank you! Do you know if the medical or interviews have a due date?

When you get a NOA2 hardcopy, I believe there is a validity date there. I think that is the date when you have to have everything completed including the interview. Try to ask your consulate if there is an option to have your interview scheduled.

-=ROC & Naturalization Timeline=-

January 25, 2021 - ROC application received

January 22, 2022 - Case transferred

January 16, 2022 - Naturalization application received

April 7, 2023 - ROC and Naturalization Interview

April 20, 2023 - Oath Ceremony scheduled

they have to be completed within four months of your NOA2 date - there will be an expiry date on your NOA2 notice

However, I think you can request an extension from the embassy

That helps out so much! Thank you for you help @Chelleyandaaron and @isabelleyri

The trip is scheduled for the end of July. If I can schedule the medical, and interview in July/August that should be enough time to plan everything out.

Thanks again!

The frustration of seeing all these approvals with NOA1 after me is simply infuriating.  But does it really help to call them and harass them?  Or is it just wasting my time calling them?

Hi Geo,

Im pretty impressed with all your data. Sorry for being a newbie, within the 4,300 cases (roughly) in December, may I ask where you find all the data. Plus, among the 4,300 cases, all are being sent to California Service Center?

Many thanks!

Thanks! I have been running scans of every case number from Dec. 1st onwards (~60,000) until I reached Jan. 1st. From this, I filtered it down to just the I-129F petitions. I only scanned CSC case numbers, but CSC is the only service center that handles new I-129Fs, so that should make up almost all of them. Very rarely a case is transferred to another service center (for a variety of reasons).

Thanks! So basically the WAC number doesn't matter - the receipt date matters. Interesting. Because you would think the WAC number would roughly correspond to the receipt date, but it just doesn't in my case.

Correct. I've seen WACs in 11/28 and later with receipt dates in mid-November, and the have been approved already. WAC numbers do roughly correspond to receipt date, but there's a few stragglers out there.

I wrote an email to USCIS yesterday asking them to update the processing times and atleast the dates on their website. It still says August 16th for K1/K2, Let's see if it helps at all.. will post their revert here :) (if I receive anything at all :P) .Ironically my heart whispers to uscis - "please dont bother replying to emails, keep entire focus on the i129Fs!!!! )

Anyone else heard anything from them about their updates on website?

Good luck! I think their process dictates when they update the website's processing dates. My guess is every quarter...so maybe on March 1st they'll update?

Sorry. :(

No, calling and harassing USCIS customer service won't help you (except maybe the blood pressure!) Nothing you say or do can make them take up your case sooner, except for an expedite (which would likely get approved after your case is adjudicated anyway) or a WoM (which would almost 100% end in a flat out denial). A congressional inquiry can be useful once your case is out of "normal" processing....5/6 months.

Hi, the sponsor should recive all notifications of NOA1 and NOA2  as NVC notification of sending petition to USA embassy within 2-4 weeks of receiving it from  USCIS.When embassy receives application they will contact beneficiary.( that's what paper coppy of NOA2 states ) Beneficiary  contact info. is in  petition. Some people start calling after few days to NVC, after new petition number that should be given to us , but it clearly says on approved  NOA2 to call if NVC notification not receive in mail after 30 days.   That's what I know, posibly someone else know more or have better information. My NOA2 date was February 2 no news from NVC yet.

Hey everyone!

Thanks Art786 for your answer!

4 days passed since we saw the 'case approved' on the page... and my fiancée (petitioner) didn't get any notification yet, lol.

It's time to patiently wait again for that notification, and then get ready to pester the NVC by phone, haha.

Thanks again for your kind reply Art786. Hope you get your NVC notification soon!

Happy Valentine's day!

Geowrian said that he will continue to run scans and do regular updates with December dates as USCIS starts to process December applications.

That's great news - especially as your NOA2 is just a few days ahead of ours.  When Aaron called this morning they told him it would be at least six weeks (last Wednesday they told him to try Monday 13th - yesterday).  I'm guessing your case will update in the next 24 hours - try again tomorrow x

I have asked Aaron not to wait until the middle of March - but to try again on Thursday! :D  I'm hoping to have been hoked and poked at by the approved doctor by the middle of March!
