it's not required, but is recommended. The idea is your fiance should be able to provide any documents at the interview in case they got lost, need corrections (i.e. G-325A), etc. You can make a new set of documents at any time...it's just much easier to make a photocopy before you send than to try to recreate the whole thing months later.

 my fiance didn't make any copy our ours even tho i insisted. Now i regret letting her do it. We we're rushing that time and we didnt really thought about it. Make sure you have a copy cos you won't see it anymore.

We scanned all of the paperworks of I-129F packet before we sent it to USCIS

Technically, no. A copy is not required. That said, it's better to be overprepared and not need it than underprepared wishing you did it.

Except for signatures, all my documents were scans already. I did not make a photocopy myself, but have a Google Drive folder shared with my fiance and can re-print anything/everything.

Called NVC today and they received our case and established our case number! But when I go and check the status of the case it says "Your search did not return any data"? Is this because it hasn't left NVC yet? (The woman on the phone told me it was still at NVC) Im confused. hahah

Hmm..I wonder if something is up with their system today. I'm still running my scan, but I'm seeing 0 cases touched today. I didn't seen this even back when USCIS K-1 processing was basically halted for those few weeks back in January.

No, calling and harassing USCIS customer service won't help you (except maybe the blood pressure!) Nothing you say or do can make them take up your case sooner, except for an expedite (which would likely get approved after your case is adjudicated anyway) or a WoM (which would almost 100% end in a flat out denial). A congressional inquiry can be useful once your case is out of "normal" processing....5/6 months.

Hi Geo - We're January filers.  I have an Android phone so I'm unable to look at the detail of the data your are able to share with everyone here.  Apparently the App you have is much more useful.  I'm sure everyone appreciates you taking the time to extract this information into the reports you created.

 

My questions is, can I access the data from another source by using my laptop?  Also when I go to Igor's list, for example today, the report shows only one (1) NOA2 Approved for today.  When I comb through the Stats pages I sill only come up with one case approved.

 

Why is the data so skewed?  The report in Visa Journey seem absolutely useless when comparing your data to what is posted on VJ.  Also I don't understand why the phone Apps would be different from and Android to an I Phone.

 

I know everyone here appreciates all of the time and effort you spend collaborating these reports.  The are very useful.

@geowrian I wonder if USCIS may be processing late october applications, and that may be the reason you are not getting any data? How far back do your data go?

I have asked Aaron not to wait until the middle of March - but to try again on Thursday!   I'm hoping to have been hoked and poked at by the approved doctor by the middle of March!

 

Whats weird is when I called she said that it has been at NVC for over a week. I didnt call for a little over a week because I was busy with work and they put you on hold forever. So im not sure whats going on with the case number, but I will try checking it again tomorrow!
