Good luck finding anything in Greece. I was an unregistered employee (it is common practice if you are desperate for a job and the employer will not pay insurance for you - under the horrible conditions in Greece a lot of people agree). Not all the years but a lot of the years and in the end I did a lot of freelancing.

Plus Greece is still in the stone age!

I paid for them 23rd July, we had them 9th September I think, in hand!

My husbands background check for the same company I work at took less than a day.

It took my background check about three weeks to come back.

I think the average for a background check is 2-3 weeks unless they are on the ball, which normally they aren't lol.

They hired me 8am to 4.30pm for cheese (Deli) and today they handed me a schedule 6am to 2pm for stocking!!

Daycare does not open until 7.30am!!! And I am.not allowed to lift anything over 10lbs because of a hernia that developes during pregnancy (need to operate but no health insurance).

So obviously I cannot do that particular job. They said they would "try " and fix it for me... we shall see

Wow doll....I'm sorry to hear that they tried to renege on the hiring agreement. Was this detail not discussed at your interview about your lifting restrictions and work hours??? Chin up chica, it should get better soon.

I work in hr and refuse to judge or even look at Facebook. ...how do I know in fact that the person did not have their page hacked by a crazy ex which is why their profile pic us a pig wearing a hat. Lazy hr drives me crazy.

Listen to harps. ..but they could have made a legitimate error meaning that you got hired for a specific spot but ypu were poached by a Manger right away who was short handed. The store must accept your limiatations but just ask nicely as not to miff off the manager that we shall call an opportunist for the time being.

Yes -- try to get it straightened out by means of straightforward discussion with the managers. It might be an honest mistake, or "departmental poaching."

I do not work in hr and I agree the pig in the hat would not sway me much, but entries of a racist or sexist nature would, as would a predeliction for posing with massive amounts of alcohol or other socially unacceptable behavior proudly displayed for all the world to see.npeople show their true nature in quasi-public private moments

Def talk to them. My husband and I both have hours we can work and hours we simply can't work. The managers SHOULD know these hours. We have a thing at our store where you can literally pull up someones availability, so if something like that happens it's as simple as showing them their own agreement.

Talk to them, try to work with them but explain that you CAN NOT work the 6am shift and why stocking won't work for you. If they want to keep you, they will work with you, but don't bend on something that doesn't work for you.

Hopefully they will fix it for you.

Fair enough...why its important to make sure you check all your social media accounts to ensure that you are 'posted properly'. I was once overseas for a job interview and posted a picture of a beautiful mosque and some redneck I knew from high school posted, 'let's bomb it'. I thought I was going to be sick. Luckily I caught it right away and had the comment removed as well as the 'friend'.

I just try to be very careful since people can and also claim discrimination for not getting a job/promotion due to being white, black, disabled, sexual orientation etc by looking though Facebook...social media has changed so much and we are never going to be on top of it.
