You need to attach in duplicate a copy (or transcript) of last year's income tax return plus the W2 form.

No need for duplicates. You need a copy of the complete tax return or an IRS transcript. It seems your consulate likes to see the IRS transcript >

10. ORIGINAL SIGNED FORM I-134 (Affidavit of support), AND MOST RECENT TAX TRANSCRIPT FROM THE PETITIONER: I-134 can be downloaded from http://www.uscis.gov/I-134 , and please go to www.irs.gov for information on how to obtain tax transcripts.

i tried, but i dont do credit cards, and it dont work with debit cards, just seen how to order by mail, should have anouf time hopefully.

They are free.

EDIT> Wow, just saw what they now require to register and view them online.

Have a local IRS office near enough? You can go get them in person. If you do not have the 5-10 days to wait to get the transcript by mail, then you will have to use the 1040 and W-2.

Just a recommendation redact your SSN from any documents. If they were to get in the wrong hands well....

Don't worry your Embassy has your SSN I would be concerned about others.
