Embassy Review : Very easy and straightforward interview. We were called into the office 10 minutes after going through security and inpatiently waiting in the lobby. The immigration officer was very polite and cordial. He came out a closed door, called our names and greeted us into his office. Once there, only 3 questions were asked; how we met, where we met and when we got married, nothing else. The officer had all our thick files in front of him. I assume he had examined them before we entered the office since they were wide open on his desk. The officer wasn't intimidating, unfriendly or unsympathetic. He was very friendly, talkative and pleasant. After the few questions asked, he typed in the computer for a few minutes and then congratulated us saying we been approved. He happened to be bilingual (English/Spanish) and said we wouldn't need the translator we had brought along. Overall, a very quick, smooth and painless AOS experience.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
