OP has already left. They can contact the embassy and find out, but I wouldn't hold much hope that it'll be re-issued.

If true, it has already passed the 90 days.

Either start over I-129F/K1 visa or CR1/IR1 visa.

She can email the embassy with proof of her emergency and they can reissue K-1. Hovever, if emergency is rejected, then she has to start over with K-1.

9 FAM 502.7-5©(7)(e) says that K-1 can be reissued as long as the new visa's period of validity is within the 90 days after the original entry. Someone deduced above that the 90 days has already passed. So in this case they would have to start the process over.

The op other topic was asking before they left about applying for aos and ap prior to marrying so it seems they knew they needed to come back before they left. Might be that the embassy wouldn't count it as an emergency as they had had the option to delay going until after the emergency was resolved but before the end of the visa's validity and choose not to.

If the 90 days after admission on the K1 is up then the K1 visa cannot be reissued, this has come up before. I remember one Canadian and one Fillipina with similar situation to this, if I remember right one of them had it reissued as it was a documented emergency that occurred after they went to the us and there was still time on their 90 days after first entry. The other I think was past the 90 days so couldn't.

I`ve heard that one woman left earlier than 90 days due to her mother`s death. She contacted the Embassy and explained the situation and they let her in. I think you should have cogent argument or start over again.

You don't have to be married to have a SSN. You just need to be eligible to get one. I got mine while I was an au pair on a j1. Plus there's lots of unmarried us citizens with an SSN right?
