I had to leave the US before we got married due to a family emergency. What do I do now?

We applied for my social security card which I have. I couldn't wait 90 days for the AP to go home to England. I had to leave because of an emergency.

What do I do now? Do i need to have another interview? How do I do this?

What is the date they wrote on your visa? Or, another way to ask, are you still within your 90 days? If so, I think that you can contact the embassy and ask them to reissue the visa. If not, you've got to start over.

Oh my. You could try contacting the embassy but not sure that would work because the K1 is a one entry visa. You may have start all over.

The OP hasn't clarified if they even married or got the application in for AOS before they left. If that's the case they really are going to have to start over with a spousal.

Well if they didn't marry when he was here, the I-129f is still an option.

As another mentioned, had he applied for the AOS, an emergency AP would have been an option. But that's water under the bridge now.

As some one pointed out, they didn't marry, so a new I-129f is his route.

They don't reissue K-1 visa after it has been used.

If your I94 expiry date has not been reached yet, there is an ever so slight chance that the embassy will re-issue your visa. You would have to enter before the original I94 expires. Contact them asap! If they will not, you are back to square 1, and need to file a new petition.

It has nothing to do with expiry date.. it is a Single entry visa.

We had a power outage as I began to reply, and when it came back on, I'd forgotten that bit.

The K1 might be able to be reinvalidated, but they'd have to hurry on that. Slim chance maybe? Or else they're going to have to get a K1 redo for sure.
