So I had my interview today. Approved on the spot. Only question asked was how did we two meet. Nothin else. Neither proof of relationship nor financial support docs were asked for. It was a piece of cake. Except though before the interview, at the document collection window I was told that NVC had not updated some crucial info on the ds 260 and I was told to go find a cyber cafe and fix that before the interview could happen. I did get a fright there, but managed all within the 90 minutes given to me. Back at the consulate in time for the interview.

This is the official Visa Information and Appointment System, where most of us need to register to schedule Bio-metrics appointments, DHL passport and visa delivery arrangement and CO interview confirmation.

Does any one know why DOS has not standardize or implemented this system world wide across all embassies and consulates?

Because every country does things differently. Only about 3 embassies do bio-metrics outside of the interview. Delivery also is a embassy setup. Most like Nigeria, Ghana, etc have a Visa Center you go and pick up.

Alot might have to do with the fear of unstable network and hacking. Who knows. To me seems like the bio-metrics at another facility is a waste and stupid. It's nice to have it all done at interview. They have to realize people are coming from all over a country and running all over the place at their whim is just not right or cool. IMHO

The month of my "chat" is here. My interview is on 2/4/2016 at the US Consulate, Lagos. I'm in the final phase of preparation. I believe that 'ALL IS WELL'. I wish everyone success in their interviews.

Awesome. It is well. Although I don't know as much about EB3 visas as others. I just know to be versed in what your job is and you will be okay. It is well.

Now that's what I call get your hustle on. But goodness why can't they just update right there. hmmmm weird.

I'm a U. S citizen and i wife has Interview on March 10, 2016. She is sick and i requested an expedite interview because she is sick. is it possible that the Interview date change for February because she is sick?

You know, I never put up a flag because my hubby is Egyptian but all the process is being done in Italy so I did not want to get anyone confused as I know things in Egypt are totally different than in Italy...other than that I think my timeline is updated to the latest info. I have...
