So frustrated. The website for the amsterdam consulate says passport will be returned to you within 5 working days of your interview. My husband was told the same thing by the CO. But looking at VJ timelines tells a different story. It used to be 3-4 days 2 years ago, more like 5 days 1 year ago, but more like 8 now. :(

Our situation is so difficult, everyday is a struggle. But I am grateful that he's been approved, but I wish they wouldn't tell us something if they know they aren't going to fulfill their "promise".

I have spent a lot of time going over amsterdam timelines and tracking all the dates. Even the difference between Tuesday and Thursday interviews. They just aren't doing what they say they will do. I'm just putting this here so other Dutch couples are aware of the time. Heaven forbid someone buy a ticket based in what they're told. We didn't because I looked at the VJ timelines before the interview.

My priority date is April 7 2014. What does that mean?

For all practical purposes that is like a NOA1, that's all. The "I' in IR1/CR1 means "immediate", no wait, for a priority date to be current.

You have a strange time line for being a IR1/CR1, did you send your I-130 few days before April 7 2014? Are you sure you are IR1/CR1, does not look like it.

Quick question:

Is there any difference when it comes to interview scheduling process between IR/CR visas and K visas ?

I've just seen someone (on a FB group) got an interview scheduled for April but they're applying for a K visa.

Thank you. I am more nervous than my hubby. Been doing this a while have a divorce from a previous failed I-130. I wrote about here on VJ back in 2013 (sorry I had it deleted it was just too depressing) when 2 weeks before interview found out he married some girl in Nigeria. Got one of those "Hey girl I was on your husbands wall on Facebook and he has wedding pics up". Like WOW. And I lived 8 months in Nigeria with him. :ranting::protest:

Okay enough of that mess.

Hey ya'll Tomorrow is Monday. We are probably the only people on Earth so happy to see Monday. Oh please Lord make this week be my interview assignment week so I can pass out.

Okay on my second beer. Let me stop . :goofy:

10391583_1304506212294_7020014_n.jpg?oh=

OMG...but when God closed a window, HE opens a door. Trust a believe that the first fool (and thats the nicest term I could find to describe him) will get his. Its this funny little thing called Karma! What you put in the world, comes back to you. And please know that you are so much better off...

Enough of that!

I'm not sure how long you have been waiting for a date but I am guessimating (is that a word) for a minute. I am in the same boat kind of. Our 1 year anniversary is quickly approaching and I have a feeling that it will be right before then that we get a date. Not sure if the interview scheduling will start this week or next but nonetheless, I pray that you hear something during this cycle.

I love the superwoman pic! Now that's the shirt you need under the traditional wear.

*ease up on the beer...you want to be coherent when you get that interview notification
