I'm lil miss organised and although ive not even entered the US yet I have already started getting my head around the AOS, I just printed off your AOS content list and have stored it away for future reference lol.

You do not need to submit different paper works (passport photos, I-94, copy of passport and visa pages) if you are applying AOS, AP and EAD altogether except their corresponding application forms.

Yes you do. They are separate applications that happen to be mailed together to the same address. They are not processed together. You should include what is required for each form, even if it is a duplicate of supporting evidence from another one.

God bless you all guys on your applications and on your weddings. I just had an interview for my AOS today. We lodged our Applications last July 2015. So it only took us just under 4 months for the whole process. Our interview was really relax and the guy who interview us was friendly. He said that our marriage is bonafide by looking at the paper works that we gave him. And at the end of the interview, he said we will get the result in the mail in a couple of weeks. It was not as hard as i expected. All the best to you guys..

You dont have to worry. They will not reject your application straight away. You will receive RFE. Then you can send the documents they ask for. It happen to me too. I did not send the complete evidence for my Affidavit, and I received mail asking for evidence. About couple of weeks later, we sent the paper work they asked for. And today was our interview. We will get the result soon in the mail. Hope that will encourage you

Only a joint sponsor needs to provide proof of being a USC or LPR.

Thank you! My k1 application was very very easy no RFE and they didn't even asked for proof of relationship before, I'm just worried I'll have a tough one in AOS but I'm still positive!

Form 129f is just to petition for the K1

If your doing your AOS from a K1 visa you should be sending in:

I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status

I-864 Affidavit of Support

I-765 Application for Employment Document

I-131 Application for Travel Document

Thanks for replying. That makes sense, I have the NOA2 and attatched is a copy of the i-129f they sent back with it. I should have stated I was applying from a K1 visa, yes. I was confised as I dont have any documents at all that say I-797 on them.

This whole process is so stressful! I can't wait for it to be over
