Are you going to send 6 photos all in all? I just sent mine last Friday and I just sent 2 passport photos! Omg!

Total 6 is required. They will probably send you RFE. That's an easy fix.

Your packet seems to be in order. I sent less than you did. So far no RFEs. I didn't bother to send certified copy of marriage license, just regular black & white copy. Also did not include copy of USA passport. Good luck!

Thank you and best to you too!

One other thing, I thought we could use the same passport photos from the interview since they were less than 6 months old. I now see they have to be within 30 days of filing AOS. Yay! More $$$!!

You're welcome! It is the most confusing part of this process. Only because I think the AOS guide on the site is incomplete.

Just for reference.....................

I-765 instructions for passport photos:

You must submit two identical color photographs of yourself taken within 30 days of filing your application. The photos must have a white to off-white background, be printed on thin paper with a glossy finish, and be unmounted and unretouched.

The passport-style photos must be 2" by 2". The photos must be in color with full face, frontal view on a white to off-white background. Head height should measure 1" to 1 3/8" from top to bottom of chin, and eye height is between 1 1/8' to 1 3/8" from bottom of photo. Your head must be bare unless you are wearing headwear as required by a religious order of which you are a member. Using pencil or felt pen, lightly print your name and Alien Receipt Number on the back of the photo.

I-131 instructions for passport photos:

If you are in the United States and filing for an Advance Parole Document:

You must submit 2 identical color photographs of yourself taken within 30 days of filing this application. The photos must have a white to off-white background, be printed on thin paper with a glossy finish, and be unmounted and unretouched.

NOTE: Because of the current USCIS scanning process, if a digital photo is submitted, it needs to be produced from a high-resolution camera that has at least 3.5 mega pixels of resolution.

The passport-style photos must be 2" x 2". The photos must be in color with full face, frontal view on a white to off-white background. Head height should measure 1" to 1 3/8" from top to bottom of chin, and eye height is between 1 1/8' to 1 3/8" from bottom of photo. Your head must be bare unless you are wearing headwear as required by a religious denomination of which you are a member. Using pencil or felt pen, lightly print your name and A-Number on the back of the photo.
