I am feeling confused & frustrated. Received NOA1 08-03-16. Received an RFE on 09-14-2016 asking for proof of having met in the last 2 years. Included in our original pack were 3 flight tickets of my visits to the US, including Boarding Passes. 2 flight tickets for my fiancé visiting me in the U.K., including Boading passes. Hotel receipts. Internal Flight tickets to Edinburgh, including Boarding Passes showing adjacent seats. Over 30 photos of us at various landmarks in both the Us and UK.

Thankfully, I have just got back home from visiting my fiancé, so we have added a lot more fresh evidence. However, I can't think what else they could require!

We have the exact same scenario! In our original packet I thought we had provided MORE than enough evidence of meeting within the last two years, I was shocked to receive RFE for more evidence. The only thing I can think is each officer has to RFE a certain percentage of cases for auditing purposes, or something like that, and we happen to be the unlucky ones...

Hopefully a smooth NOA2 for both of us!

A lot of forums recommended to include credit card statements from the same store or area that you visited together. (It usually had town/county and time stamps on purchases on the statements)

I printed out both my and my fiance's credit card statements for the months we visited each other and highlighted purchased for the area's pictures were taken of us, or near the hotels we stayed in. We had no issues, hopefully that helps :)

They're interested in passport stamps, not so much boarding passes. The stamps show that you actually took the flight to that particular country/place. Boarding passes can anyone get without actually flying anywhere.

Hi team,

I am the beneficiary, how my boyfriend can fix RFE: "Marriage Termination" timely?

Thanks, I thought he had sent the correct file

He needs to obtain the final divorce decree from the county he was divorced in. Most counties nowadays provide the ability to obtain this over the internet by going to the county website (Google it)

There will be a charge to obtain that record and there will be a charge for getting it certified where it will be embossed with the county seal. You will need this certification. Make a copy of it. Submit the copy immediately with the RFE per the instructions.

Better yet he can go down in person it will be much quicker.

In some counties... If it's a recent divorce - the records will be available same day due to online storage. If the divorce is older such as 15/20 years ago... The records will be stored off site and it will take 10 days to retrieve. They will contact you once they arrive.

Act now.

That usually means that the birth certificate they received does not list both birth parents on it. The long form of the birth certificate includes both parents names listed.
