I noticed that too. They haven't updated website (in a mass way) since late September. I've seen one or two cases with a change the entire month. Something is definitely up

04/19/16 PD - NOA1 (Potomac Service Center)

07/13/16 Transferred to National Benefits Center to "speed up" processing

08/06/16 Transferred to Local Field Office (Philadelphia) for Marriage Interview

10/04/16 - Congressional Inquiry

01/05/17 - Ombudsman says will receive Interview letter within 30 Days!

02/01/17 - Marriage Interview

02/02/17 - I-130 Approved!!!  :D

My I130 went to Potomac on 9-26; got the NOA1 on 9-29...waiting. Doesn't seem to be moving at all when you check their caseload online.

What exactly does a PD stand for and mean ?

PD- Priority Date, it really doesn't mean anything for a USC applying for a spouse because we don't need to wait for a visa to become available. Only a green card holder need to wait for a visa availability.

My case was transferred from NCS to Potomac on Nov 3rd. PD is June 17th.

I will contact Potomac and ask for feedback.

My mistake, there isn't any need for the PD as it isn't mentioned on transfer notice. So disregard it.

I had meant to state the filing date as I'm now 157 days waiting for approval.

Case type : I-130, Petition for Alien Relative

Preference classification: 201 B INA SPOUSE OF USC

half-true... yes, the number of visas are not limited for USC, but you still have to get a visa from the NVC, which is now going on 4 months wait... (and I still don't have a interview scheduled date)

1) NVC doesn't issue visas the embassies does

2) Which part of my sentence is half true?

Maybe you misread/ misunderstood my statement. I will elaborate some more. After approval from USCIS an USC applying for a spouse does not need to wait for their PD to become available to move to the next stage. After approval from USCIS a green card holder has to wait for their PD to become available in order to proceed to the next stage. We all have to "wait" obviously, but not as long as a greencard holder.

Spoke to Tier 1 at USCIS for an update and they informed me "still within normal processing times" out of Nebraska! I told them I received a hard copy notice of transfer (Nov 4) to Potomac.

Should I be receiving an update that the file was "received" at new office before NOA 2 is issued? It isn't clear to me what happens next?

Any idea why it is taking so long for IR-1 Visa.

Anyone?
