Lol I know I'm confused myself. The thing is I didn't come here in a k1 visa. I was here and then we got married and applied while being here so we got married may 2013 and sent papers that same month or June. So that's why I'm confused if it's since I got my greencard or since I entered the USA

Thanks A-Singh. I had a similar question.

But what if you are no longer married to the US citizen?

You can apply 90 days before your 5-year anniversary of being an LPR

If you're still married you can apply 90 days before your 3-year anniversary of being an LPR.

Yes I'm still married and I'm a resident since 01/21/14, that means that this coming October I would be able to file for citizenship? So sorry just confused with all this and makes me nervous lol. Also what happens if I apply after those 90 days, would t take longer or it's just whenever I want at this point?

Is this the only case tracker available? https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do
I remember 3 years ago there was one that was more informative, like it had step by step and it would show you where your application was. Does it not exist anymore?

Hello All,

I have not heard back anything since my Biometrics that happened last year on Nov 10. Based on the threads, looks like some people from Aug late to early sept filers at VSC are starting to hear back.

But since my 90 day window for the N400 form opens up on 21st September, just under a month, does it make sense for me to start preparing the paperwork for citizenship. I just want to cut back on time and get done with USCIS as soon as possible.,

What do you guys recommend? What if by Sep 21st, I dont see my ROC update and I am due to file citizenship.

thanks

I filed late October last year and still has not heard anything. I am a CSC filer, I moved during the process so I dont know if that is what's causing the delay but I already tried calling twice and the last time we spoke with an officer and I still couldn't get any straight answer they said they are behind the processing times and that was a month ago when I called. I dont know if it's a good idea to keep calling, I frequently check my case status to see if there's an update but for now I am working and hopefully something will change soon and I will get approve

Journey to citizenship now. Finally the last one!
