so frustrated we have not received a new interview date yet....why? still says cancelled as of 11/22......we are still planning on showing up to our interview end of next week.

Hang in there! At least you're somewhat scheduled for an interview as we haven't heard anything since after getting the EAD approved.

E-N I would advise you not to show up because your file might not be there. The moment they give you an interview date is because a specific IO has your file with them. Im not sure if you appear if the IO will have your file with him/her. I know waiting is painful but I think you guys should hang in there.

E-N I would advise you not to show up because your file might not be there. The moment they give you an interview date is because a specific IO has your file with them. hmm thats interesting. i would actually give the opposite advice, not that i know personally because i haven't experienced it, but reading through VJ and seeing horror stories about interviews that were cancelled and never rescheduled, only for the applicant to later get a letter saying they failed to show for their interview and application was denied, i would be much more inclined to show up and have them tell me go home than not show up at all and the CO be there with my file but not me!! if its not too much of a journey to get to the interview, i'd go just in case. and who knows, they may have it and see you anyway even if it was genuinely cancelled.

Well seen it from that perspective I think you are right, it's better to have them send you back than tell you you didn't show up! This is why I love visa journey we can always have feedback and help from others!

Today I got a notificacion in my email from USCIS that says:

"On December 14, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us".

The thing it's that in previous notification with date Dec 3, 2015 they let me know that my appointment for my I-485 was scheduled to Jan 7, 2015, but until today I didn't get the hard copy of that letter. Plus, I didn't get a notification cancelling my appointment.

Do you think it's a mistake from their system? And I need go anyway to the appointment?

I have a question,

I've been checking my I-485 case status to adjust status and it has been saying that our case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. I have not recieved an interview date yet. Yesterday I checked it, the status now says new card is being produced. we will mail to the address you provided etc.. What does that mean?
