Consulate Review: Islamabad, Pakistan
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : May 26, 2015
Embassy Review : My fiance had his interview at the Embassy in Islamabad on March 25. My fiance went through all the security, fingerprints, and fee payment steps. Then he had the interview. He was asked several questions about himself, me, my family, my education, my work. They asked him again for the financial documents that show affidavit of support. He sent them with the packet 3.5 but luckily he had copies and gave those again. They would not take our proof of ongoing relationship and said everything looks good, but he got the white slip of paper saying he is in AP. Not any explanation given other than it needs more time for review. And now it is over 60 days since interview and the only thing they will say is that it is in AP. No update since the interview.
Rating : Very Poor

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
