Hey everyone,

As planned, my AOS packet was mailed off yesterday. :) I couldn't believe how expensive passport photos were, at CVS. If I had known, I would have brought them from home.

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

06/19/2015 - Wedding (L)

The ROC journey:

10/12/2017 - ROC packet mailed to VSC

01/21/2019 - ROC Approved - there was no interview

The N-400 journey:

02/16/2020 - N-400 application filed online

02/21/2020 - Paper NOA received in the mail

03/13/2020 - Biometrics

02/02/2021 - Interview & test - Approved

lol there's a free immigration service at York college . They took my pictures free for me I had to get about six or eight pictures and photocopy all my supporting documents and also check to make sure all my application we fill properly.

Now waiting for the biometrics letter and hoping for no RFE...there was so much paperwork and evidence etc to send in I can't help but feel that I missed something obvious.

It can but we may not be able to share info on a particular application since some adjust from student, work, or marriage on tourist visa.

I think it would be better to keep this thread only for K1/K2, cause the info gonna mess up and will only confuse everybody! All other guys from different adjustments can open their own thread! No offense guys, it's my opinion....

I doubt it. All they have to do then is to start a topic in the AOS FORUM if ever a problem arise that we are not familiar with. It's just one additional application form they file other than the three that all k1 file so it may not be so confusing.

Yep that's true. Since not just us but future k1 applicants may read through this discussion to get information/ answers on their application before posting a topic.
