Had a bad night and it rubbed me the wrong way-sorry for my post. So I don't see another thread for AOS from family based since we are filing the I-130 at the same time as the I-485...I know its different from the K1 but isn't it family based? My husband came here on a visitor visa (before we even knew each other), we met and eventually got married and now filed for AOS based on marriage to US citizen (so we did concurrent filing of I130/I485).

CR1/AOS Timeline

24 JUNE 2015 - CHECKS CASHED
27 JUNE 2015 - RECEIVED NOA1--CRI/AOS/EAD/AP (HARDCOPY)
03 JULY 2015 - Bio-metrics letter

It's all family-based, it's just that there are particularities to each visa that may or may not apply. For example, the medical. All K1s are required to go through a medical examination by a panel physician. I'm thinking your husband hasn't done that yet? So, it's stuff like that. :)

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

11/09/2013 - I-129F Packet mailed to Dallas Lockbox                                                                                         06/22/2015 - AOS packet mailed to Chicago Lockbox

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

06/19/2015 - Wedding (L)

The ROC journey:

10/12/2017 - ROC packet mailed to VSC

01/21/2019 - ROC Approved - there was no interview

The N-400 journey:

02/16/2020 - N-400 application filed online

02/21/2020 - Paper NOA received in the mail

03/13/2020 - Biometrics

02/02/2021 - Interview & test - Approved

02/05/2021 - Oath Ceremony

Guys, did you hear anybody gets any updates on USCIC website when they check online statuses, seems like it doesn't show any updates since first days of June. So now everybody just getting to know the info via regular mail, that's frustrating.....

That was kind of harsh.. I never meant to be rude just trying to make things easier.. It wasnt a bit deal but im sorry.

On the aos process.. That is why i do not want to get an interview waiver waiting that long is just insane.
