Exactly, and plus we are not sure how quick they get the approvals or interview appointments from different adjustments not the same as from AOS!

This topic was posted in the family-based forum. Regardless of title, people are going to post where they're going to post, unfortunately.

And the tag for the forum is appropriate with a k-1... just pointing that out.

Because I did mine last year on July in my country, and on my medical form there is an expiration date- July 30. But also civil surgeon transferred my medical and sealed it to the envelope last November, so not really sure from which date USCIS will consider it....

ok. lets hope they consider it from November. Most of the RFE case for medical that im seeing are for person who received the interview waiver letter and 6 month later USCIS asked for update medical.

Originally it was from K-1, but the moderator did not keep that to the title. I am sorry if we sounded rude, but we wanted to have people from k-1 so we can know what is going on with that AOS application.. they do the same each month (K-1 March, April, May filers etc.)

AOS from family-based visas tend to be so similar that people lump them all together. Other kinds of visas, like student and whatnot, have their own separate AOS forum, right?

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

11/09/2013 - I-129F Packet mailed to Dallas Lockbox                                                                                         06/22/2015 - AOS packet mailed to Chicago Lockbox

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

06/19/2015 - Wedding (L)

The ROC journey:

10/12/2017 - ROC packet mailed to VSC

01/21/2019 - ROC Approved - there was no interview

The N-400 journey:

02/16/2020 - N-400 application filed online

02/21/2020 - Paper NOA received in the mail

03/13/2020 - Biometrics

02/02/2021 - Interview & test - Approved

02/05/2021 - Oath Ceremony

Correct. There's another forum that has it for non-family based visas. Family based is the same across the board: a non-US citizen relative, spouse, etc.
