Ugh...the frustration & wait continues! Just remember people, it will all be worth it in the end!!! As for interview scheduling delays, my husband called his embassy, Guatemala, (just as a long shot looking for any interview dates ideas) they couldn't tell us anything there but we did find out they had been closed the entire Easter week! So I expect that would cause a delay! Perhaps this has happened elsewhere & maybe the holidays held some things up. I saw there were a couple interviews scheduled yesterday so let's hope the ball is rolling again!! Come on Nvc!! Get moving!! ?

Ugh...the frustration & wait continues! Just remember people, it will all be worth it in the end!!! As for interview scheduling delays, my husband called his embassy, Guatemala, (just as a long shot looking for any interview dates ideas) they couldn't tell us anything there but we did find out they had been closed the entire Easter week! So I expect that would cause a delay! Perhaps this has happened elsewhere & maybe the holidays held some things up. I saw there were a couple interviews scheduled yesterday so let's hope the ball is rolling again!! Come on Nvc!! Get moving!! ?

I was hoping for a long shot too from Netherlands Embassy and got, "Contact the NVC they should know the scheduling timelines, they are the ones that schedule interviews. We have no problems on our end and plenty of openings." Mind you I tried three times getting that answer ^ i got zero response from them. My dutch husband wrote in dutch and got an immediate reply :ranting:

I had my interview Feb 5th and got a 221 for a Chinese Police check I had been told prior I didn't need. That took a month and a half to get. Now my documents and my passport have been in Montreal two weeks as of this morning with no status updates. I am beyond frustrated.

I heard their mailroom is slow. Anyone else have their documents in limbo there in Montreal?

Sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere, but for vaccines that require multiple doses 8 weeks apart (MMR, varicella), is it possible to still get the visa when you have only received the first vaccine?

No they will not hold up your Visa. It is on you whether you want 2nd dose its not mandatory.

Has anyone called the NVC to see what is the holdup with getting all of us our interview dates?

I call pretty much twice a day and the usual answer is " its waiting for a date to be scheduled and its a different department so we wouldn't know. Also cant contact "interview aspect representatives" part of it. So its a "waiting game, just wait and it'll come".

Most of the country of Colombia shuts down for Easter week so I wasn't expecting a scheduled interview. Hopeful for late this week or early next week.

Case completed on 31st march..got email about case complete on 7th april.. now waiting for interview letter... also I had expedite my case, it was approved by embassy but still they wanted all documents and fees to paid to NVC. Now case is complete at nvc

I got cc in march 26, and I'm also waiting for the interview in Colombia. And it was closed last week so hopefully we hear from them soon. Goodluck
