We've given up. Visa never arrived.

Just want to say a big thank you for nothing to the Dominican Embassy.

Got approved a month ago, status on CEAC never updated past ready for interview, nothing on USTraveldocs and no way to contact anyone for help. Just a blank document delivery box with no information.

Hopefully others will have an easier time.

Thanks for all the support here - I hope none of you have to go through the nightmare I've gone through.

This is my last post here.

Some journeys are never meant to complete I guess.

You should contact your embassy to receive the "Packet 3".

You can find it here: http://santodomingo.usembassy.gov/k1-k2-appointment-package-e.html

Seems like you just have to collect all documents and then book an appointment with the embassy.

CEAC will not show "Interview", just "READY" when you can schedule your appointment.

Dont give up! The best things in life are worth fighting for! Maybe u can get ur congressman involved. They may have better success getting thru 2 the embassy. I pray all goes well for u! This is a tough journey but it is so worth all of the anxiety.

Alright. It wasn't clear what you meant by "approved". Could have been just the petition.

Does it say that the visa got "ISSUED"? Because if that's not the case, I would contact the embassy again.

Next wednesday i will have a year in administrative processing, you are only one month waiting and you give up?

I can understand the OP frustration but not the quitting thing.

My petition still says at NVC, I had a approved expedite on March 6. When I call the NVC they tell me do not send them anything but to call the consulate. When i call the consulate they directed me to go on USAtraveldocs create a profile and select my appointment dates for the VAC and the embassy interview.

Petiton still says at NVC on CEAC but I do have confirmed appointments at the VAC and embassy, actually my wife completed her VAC appointment last friday.

I have little confidence in the accuracy of the CEAC website in regards to current visa status.

Maybe the relationship was not really that important for him, I can't imagine just giving up on someone I intend to marry, marriage is quite a serious matter....or maybe the frustration of the process broke the relationship.

Well, we have been at this since 2012 and we still have no visa. Good thing you are not us. Our petition is back with USCIS once again.

We would do anything to make it as far as you for the embassy to tell us they approved us.

I would hire a lawyer now.

why? what exactly do you think a lawyer will do? The answer is NOTHING. I have seen you all over this site several times giving bad and wrong advice. If you do not know the answer to a question don't answer it, plain and simple. Giving bad advice will only cause more problems if someone decides to listen to you.

Just want to say a big thank you for nothing to the Dominican Embassy.

Way to show someone they weren't worth a little waiting...just wow.
