Sucks you didn't realize you could've done it all by yourself long ago. Luckily you didn't move to DR without figuring out whatever it is that you figured out..

Actually, the steps I HAVE done before, it's just how much different and detailed I was this time. There is definitely a way to spread out information for help.

Just a simple email to ustraveldocs (for the 19th time) is what it took.

As for moving there - eventually I will. I am just happy it's later rather than sooner. I want to build a house on her dads property for our family. Moving there now would have really screwed things up.

This is how I got a response: This morning my status was updated to "Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery"

Hopefully not much longer until she has the document in her hands.

My Fiance just texted me a big surprise. It was a picture of her holding her passport.

OMG I am so relieved.

If anyone has issues, please look at my thread here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/543753-how-i-got-action-on-my-k1-visa-case-after-a-month-of-nothing-post-interview/?p=7561056

It literally took 3 business days after I sent that email. :)

Wow I was just responding to you in a private message and then got this notification! How awesome??? That was super fast! I hope we are next. Status still says "being delivered to post" since Monday ?

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

(L)"I remember the days I prayed for everything I have now." (L)
