POE will be where he first lands in America, regardless of any connecting flights he might have (you always do immigration/customs at that point, even if just visiting).

A few countries even have preclearance locations, which mean you do POE before even getting into the first plane. Australia is not one of them though!

Hey my Husband's home is also in Boston...

Awwww, thank you! You are so sweet. POE is LA for me then I'm flying to Boston where my husband is picking me up.

Yes it's a total mystery what happens over weekends with AP. I believe that transport still happens, just no scanning or tracking of any kind. So with any luck it'll be on board for delivery Monday morning. If not, hopefully Tuesday. A friend suggested calling AP on Monday morning if there's no tracking at all and making a fuss, lol.

First of all I would like to congratulate!! With your experience what are the vital documents I need to present during the interview? And is that compulsory to go for vaccine and head to the medical check up? My medical check up is on the coming April 01,2015. Please advise!! Thanks heaps

Required documents are your medical, passport and passport pics. You should be reading interview reviews for your country to see what others bring as far as evidence . Every CO is different every embassy is different. Hopefully you packed a good petition package and all the CO has is in their hands.

Your medical precedes your interview and to be approved and not put in AP they need to have results at interview. Don;t know if your medical gives to you or mails them you should be going to your countries info page here and heck and see the protocol.

I have a question regarding which tax year the consulate is most concerned about. I will have the past three years tax returns of my wife’s with me at the interview on May 8. I did not have to use the joint sponsor for 2014, but was wondering if I can bring papers of a joint sponsor to be on the safe side for the other years(2012 and 2013).Please advise. Good luck to everyone!

Note- The P4 letter said to bring updated federal income tax information.

Why would you bring joint sponsor if you don;t need. When it says bring updated that's if you updated. Because its tax season many of you April and May interviews you need to update.

Now if her salary is borderline than yes bring joint sponsor. If you need one you have to have all years covered and their 2014 most up to date tax documents not just 2 years ago.
