I thought this was in the IR-1/CR-1 forum when I first posted. Guess I was really lost...so the statistics I had posted here were for the I-130 so I think not related to the K-1. So I removed them.

So you just want stories related to K-1 or?

I'm seriously moved by everyone's stories. The letter to the President really tops it off. I hope this can help bring about change. More and more people are being approved EVERY day at CSC. The difference in processing times well, I have no words to describe it. It leaves me speechless :/

Although born in the time delta between CSC and TSC WRT the I-129F, we're welcoming a wider range of stories and appeals too. So please add your stuff, if you haven't already.

9/11/14 - Petition received @ USCIS lockbox
9/11/14 - NOA1 Email and text message received
9/15/14 - NOA1 Official notice date
9/18/14 - NOA1 hard copy received
12/9/14 - "Updated" likely because of website repairs, like many of us received
4/20/15 - NOA2 text and email (221 days)

4/29/15 - Sent to the NVC (9 days)

5/8/15 - Arrived at the NVC (9 days)

So I found these stats on the USCIS website for the I-130 petitions. I tried looking for things related to K-1 but could not find anything for the I-129F related to K-1. They have something for I-129 for seasonal works...so yeah not that.

The stats are for the last quarter of 2014 and were published yesterday. Service centers at the bottom. They include data from October 1st to December 31st.

Nebraska got over 4 times as many requests as the next service center. But it also processed more...but sadly also has the largest backlog of pending cases by like 5 times the next closest service center.

The workload differences though are just....crazy.

I wonder how many people work in each? What is processed where, etc.

For me being stuck at Nebraska though...the numbers are kind of scary.

The WH letter is so thorough - well done. The proposed change to the forwarding of cases based on workload is the obvious best solution; however, should USCIS look at redistributing the states between CSC and TSC they should be conscious that the present distribution has 44%/56% of national population going to CSC v TSC. Also, 9 out of 15 top states for immigrants flow to TSC v 6 out of 15 for CSC.

When filling in your timeline, please understand that all I-129F's are sent to the LOCKBOX in Texas, and then ROUTED (not transferred) to your ASSIGNED service center- the one in Texas "TSC" (not the same as the lockbox!), or the one in California "CSC". If your tracking number starts with WAC, you're at the CSC, you were not transferred! There are no transfers at this time. If your number starts with SRC you're at the TSC and that's where you will serve your entire sentence.USCIS isn't fair.

They don't care about you.
