Ok I must admit I'm confused is this for everyone because it seems that most have filing location as Texas? So CSC is California Service Center and TSC is Texas service center and what does this have to do with anything please? I sent my petition to the Chicago lock box then it was transferred to the foreign Legion of service centers called Nebraska. Are you taking all stories or is this specific? Thank you in advance just don't want to waste my time my story is a long one.

This is the K1 forum. I-129F petitions get processed at either TSC or CSC.

I-130 petitions, for the CR-1 visa, get processed at TSC, CSC, VSC and NSC - simply because there are more of them.

Us TSC Filers are stuck because Texas has such a backlog. California does not have that. For the I-130s I am not sure, but your story is of course welcome!

I pitched the story to them about the same thing happening a year later.

HAPPY to say, they are interested. (She is the National Immigration Correspondant)

Would be nice if they can do a story that reflects how they put people in AP for months and years without giving them a reason, no information at all. How they are above the law and discriminate against certain people. They should NOT be above the law and there should be a way to stop them from discrimination of all kinds.

My wait time has been ridiculous and God willing wont be put in AP, without it it's going to be two years very soon since I filed our I-130!

OMG I'm so very sorry this has happened to you, I'll be praying something happens soon in your favor, have you contacted your Senator or Congress person? Not sure they can do anything but it's worth a try. I'm just so shocked and scared this can just happen to anyone.

This probably happens to more people than we think, but no one ever posts about it. I can't find anyone who has had AP with USCIS before. It is quite frustrating.

I agree with another poster, why is one service center always so "backed up' and the other one doing fine, and meeting projected times. My gosh, it would seem just shift some of the work load, add a few more states or districts to CSC, and lighten the work load on TSC and ""just SEE" if they could get caught up.

Someone needs to intervene, because TSC is just getting worse and worse! And a few months ago, thousands of cases was sent to other offices, to help catch them up, and I saw little effect, except the ones that were transferred, were approved in a few weeks and months.

What IS the real story of the vast difference in these Service Centers?????????????

More likely than not, employee productivity. As in, spending the day on Facebook rather than adjudicating visas maybe? A management problem--as in too many training sessions, too many meetings (small group, department group, all-hands) to try to solve the problem, but if they spend 4 hours/week in meetings that's 4 hours/week they're not adjudicating. Now multiply that by a few hundred or a few thousand?) employees. I'd guess that they can't/won't do another transfer because someone higher than middle management was reprimanded in some way for not keeping a tighter leash on TSC, was made to "look bad" and is unwilling to do it again, instead is just trying to get his possibly ineffective employees up to snuff by time-draining meetings and training sessions, giving the exact opposite effect.

This in the K-1 area. However, I would like to know if this is also going to be about other visa categories? My wife's petitions for her parents (IR-5) got backlogged and it took USCIS 10 months to approve it. May 2013 to March 2014. Also, her petitions went from NBC to Nebraska Service Center.
