We are December filers too and the wait is not getting easier, we are really hoping now for a June approval, I hope a miracle will happen and speed up everything.

Me too. We sent our petition in beginning of December and looks like we won't be getting NOA2 till end of June, so that brings us to 7 months waiting just for that plus I've read that the Canadian Consulate is backlogged for interviews too... My hopeful summer wedding is quickly looking like it's going to be a winter one. It's beyond frustrating for all of us...

Tell her to calm down. There will be no problem. My fiancé was give a B2 when our first petition was pending. It should not be a problem and he is from a 3rd world country.

Please do let her know that visiting will to 90% not be an issue. She should be honest though, and usually the border people won't give you too much of a hassle. I stayed for 2 months last summer, then came back for 10 days in october and was back only 3 weeks later for thanksgiving.

I hope everyone is hanging in there!... I'm an anxious/somewhat impatient person :clock: so I booked my flight to Italy a week ago to spend two weeks with my fiance in May. :D I'm assuming that since we should be getting approved in June/July the month of May should be the "half way mark" until he's finally here and we get married. I just saw that USCIS updated the time information at the TSC. <_< Nothing interesting, at least not for us December filers! But hey, it's been THREE months since I applied and June is THREE months away so almost there! (L)(L)

So, I have just returned from 7 awesome days in the US with my fiance. No issues at POE - was not asked a single question.

But saying goodbye...my god, it is ripping me apart. I am so over crying in airports... :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

At least we have already amassed 72d of waiting for NOA-2 - so hopefully a third or so. There seems to be no present evidence that TSC is speeding up, so I am still expecting the full 200d or more wait period... :crying::crying::crying:

God, I cannot believe they are still slowing down...still not even done with August! Really?!

This week we had some Sept. approvals, only Fr. just late August and July with RFE.

There are 3 Okt. approvals, too.

So it looks like they come a little down under 200 days...

Waiting stinks for sure, but in the end it will all be worth the wait as it test your perseverance and patience. Allow yourselves to grow toward each other more even though it hurts to be away. I am in the same boat as the rest on here--waiting--been over 3 months, but that is okay. The wait has allowed my fiancee and I to get to know each other more, appreciate each other more, and love each other more. It has allowed us to learn commitment better and trust much more than we have before. Waiting allows you to grow your friendship, the long talks over skype and facebook, the exchange of love letters and notes between each other, surprising each other, fasting, and so much more-all of these things are priceless and beautiful in every way. I may not like the wait, but thankful for the time spent to grow stronger and closer to one another. These are things that each and everyone of us that wait can take advantage of and appreciate during our wait for approval.
