Same here you spend months reading up and getting the package together only to have to wait 6 months to even get approved and for the rest of the process to occur. So sad I mean if the entire process from start to interview took 6 months no problem but to know just to be approved takes that long. I want my fiancee to be here by Christmas. :( PRAYING that is possible.

So, despite my best intentions I am feeling really down today. The unpredictable wait. The fact that we have easily another 6 months until we hear something about our petition to get NOA2, let alone the visa itself... The lack of approvals from TSC reported on here this week - all but one are either misreported or expedited... :crying::cry:

God, I hope the weekend will help me feeling better.

I'm sorry to hear that :( I'm not doing so well today either. The internet connection in my fiance's country is so bad and the time difference so extreme that we haven't Skyped for more than 20 minutes in two weeks. And I just can't take seeing Philippines and CSC approvals anymore so I think I'm gonna cool it with this website for now because it's really bringing me down. I though it would help, but it's had the opposite effect.

Thanks mukhoo! We'll get through this. My fiance and my work hours are such that we only manage to skype for a few hours every week...but we do whatsapp every waking minute. And I do have a trip to visit him coming up in a month and a half.

So, trying to stay positive. We'll get there. It is promising there are finally approvals happening for the July people - gets petitions out of the way for us!

At least I have a trip to see my fiance stateside in March lined up. Then he is coming over in May and after that we shall see. May will be 4.5months from NOA-1, so hopefully we'll be in the homeward stretch (I wish!).

I am a Filipino filer and I can tell for certain that I have yet to receive my NAO2. In fact the other two TSC Filipino filers actually filed two weeks later than I did and have already received their NAO2. I am wondering if they were special cases that just happened to be Filipino.

if I'm not mistaken, 1 of the Filipino TSC cases was same-sex? and mine is straightforward single, no kids, never married, etc..

I think it's pure blind luck tbh.. I still have faith that your noa2 is coming soon just because of the "expedite"

i know what you mean, this place has a.. macabre effect on us. Frankly, I've gone thru stages of despair, anger, hopelessness, etc.. finally I just resigned it all to god.

everyday i kept checking status, kept reading the forums, but with the understanding that I am in for a minimum of an 8 month wait.. stress no longer had a power on me

just take every day as it comes, do not expect anything.. brace yourself for the worst and the reality of the wait.. it's what i did and it has helped (me)

January 21, 2020 = My wife is finally a US CITIZEN!! Thank you Jesus! Our long journey is finally over!!

Coa24: Give it a couple weeks. Recent data suggests TSC adjudicates Filipino within 2 months give or take. Maybe call them and re-request the Filipino expedite. Hey, might as well take advantage of the crappy situation.

170d+ more to go. This is what a jail sentence must feel like. :bonk:

Eh, probably just the VJ data self-correcting from members whose petition was routed to CSC, but who listed TSC as their service center by mistake because they mailed their petitions to the TEXAS lockbox.

I stopped looking at that timeline info some time ago for that reason. Amongst others.

I've called the NVC starting the end of last week, no luck at all.

I called today and I finally got my case number!

Just jumping on the date of time sent and received. Sent mine January 15 and they received it and sent me text on the 22nd. Just wondering what the NOA1 is. The email and text says I have a receipt number and From 1-797 to follow in mail.

The date that is listed on the NOA-1 hard copy is you NOA-1 date. Or go ahead and type the number you received by text into the USCIS case tracker - that is gonna give you the date also.

So, my fellwo December TSC filers, did any of you see any action or an ARN change on the USCIS website?

My case still says - 35d in - "Case received". Last updated "12/30/2104" - when they put it in the system I guess. No change of the ARN - has any of you gotten an update? No "Initial review" either...

The status on the USCIS says what is below. How soon did people info in the mail? with info other saying they received their forms?

On January 20, 2015, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number , and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by February 19, 2015, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
