The only reason I can think of is that the TSC is processing WAY more states applications than the CSC. If the TSC takes care of all of the east coast and most of the Midwest and the CSC is just processing west coast applicants that would explain it... But that could be absolutely wrong I have no idea... Also things are just way slower in the south I suppose

Hey, does anyone have the iphone case tracker app? I heard you can follow 10 cases before and behind you.

Are these cases guaranteed I-129F forms? How do they know which receipt numbers are I-129F? Is there any rhyme or reason to it? I've been going through the USCIS website to see if I can find an approved case for a I-129F and I can't seem to find it.

You can follow up to 500 cases after yours, and it will tell you what type of file it is.. I-129F, 130, etc... you can follow up to 500 cases before yours but you would just have to put in a case number that is 500 below you.. (IE if yours was SRC.....800.. you can just put in SRC...300, and it will search 500 cases that was before yours.)

Hi everyone,

we really need some happy news here to keep us going :sleepy:

I called to ask info about the processing times again today and both people I spoke to were not helpful at all, I ended up frustrated as usual. I wonder sometimes if when you call and you are not nice they make your wait time longer to get the NO2...

I do hope USCIS have a different department for answering telephone queries and it's not the same people who are processing applications......

All these calls will hopefully not interfere with their already slow processing times!

Out of curiosity, what do people (hope to) gain from calling?

Personally for me when I was calling, a glimmer of hope, a surprise that the case is moving forward, peace of mind....

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

So...looks like September is about 70% done, October less than 30% and November less than 5%...

I am guessing we will have 3 more months to wait. At least. Some of us may get lucky and slip through earlier, but I am not counting on it.

I finally decided to contact my congressman. Tomorrow marks 5 months since I sent the packet. Some people say it's like trying to skip the line, but I think if everyone submitted inquiries/complaints to their representatives it would bring a lot of attention to the problem. Even if he tells me he can't contact TSC while I'm still within official processing times, at least I brought the disparity in Service Centers to his attention. And if he does contact TSC, I figure since the workload debacle they may be under more scrutiny in Texas so inquiries are like a little kick in the butt to those running the place. I don't expect it to have an effect on the processing of our case, but there's no reason not to contact him in my opinion.

On a side note, I noticed today that the digits in my receipt number start with the day (dd) and year (yy) I was born. Anyone else? Maybe it's a coincidence.

Wow. Last night may have seen most NOA-2 reported on visajourney since I joined the boards last December.

Now, if only they were keeping it up to work through their backlog.
