December 2014 AOS Filers

I called USCIS today and ask to speak to a level 2 IO. They asked me to call me back because of the long waiting period. An hour later, USCIS called me back and I was able to speak to a very pleasant Lady. She asked me to hold on, the time for her to pull my case. Then she came back and said that she is sorry but USCIS was not able to move with my Service Request because the main application; I-485 is still on hold for additional evidence. I told her that I already mailed them and that USCIS received them. Then she replied me to wait for 15 days.

Lesson learned, any Request for Initial Evidence automatically put all the dependent applications like 765 and 131 on hold.

They actually have not scheduled the interview as of yet, it only says that the case is ready for the interview and should receive a letter with the date. But nothing yet.... :-(

As for the EAD, the status for that still says application was received on Dec 11, 2014. So no news about that either. I am hoping it will come before the interview date :-)

I hope you also receive some news... It seems that everyone here have not received EAD yet, most likely will be within the 90 days more or less :-)

Just called back a level 2 immigration Officer. For some reason they still didn't resumed my I485. That sucks because it is blocking my I765 approval. The start date of my new employment is Feb. 2nd. I really don't want to miss that job opportunity.

Yeaaahh My 485 status just got updated with RFE received and case resumed. I am going to pressure them now to approve my EAD.

I still did not hear any updates for EAD

My RFE is for I-864 and its attachment. Because I did not submit this Form.

I did worry that they ask for I-693. But it's not correct, they ask for I-864

How about is your RFE?

Normally, EAD and AP will be issued within 1 month since the biometric date done.

Biometrics done today!!

AOS send 12/11/14. (I-130 , i-765 , i-485 )

Received date 12/16/14 (NBC)

Notice date 12/20/14

Received 3 NOA hard copies 12/26/14

Received biometrics letter: 01/9/14 for (01/21/14)

Biometrics done: 01/21/14

Now waiting for Approval , i hope it's not gonna take more than a month! ??

Called USCIS and asked to speak to an IO. I requested to resume the SR I opened to expedite my EAD approval. He put me on hold and send a note to the service service center that handle my I765 asking them to resume my SR since I provided them with the evidence they needed.

I have my fingers crossed expecting to have an approval by the end of the week.

RFE mailed on January 21st I wonder what the problem is, I'm 100% sure I sent everything in, Can I call them and ask? Or just wait for the letter.

Wait for the RFE notice in the mail! EAD/AP processing is put on hold in most cases until they have all the evidence they need! Good luck to you.

My wife and I are also Peruvian and also in the DC area. Got her package to USCIS on December 31st. We just got the biometrics letter which was scheduled for the 30th, but she went in early and had the biometrics done two days ago.

Hopefully we'll hear back about the EAD soon.......... She wants to work!

Hopefully we'll hear back about the EAD soon.......... She wants to work!

That is cool. Hopefully you will see an update after they process the fingerprints. My wife's and daughter's bio appointment was on the 9th and 5 days later their status changed to ready for interview. Hopefully you hear something good soon! I will let you know if my wife gets her EAD.
