The army it's possible but not the air force. But you may be able to join the reserves? Otherwise just wait. You want to be able to get what you need from recruitment.

Not likely. The army is probably the most likely. But that's no guarantee by any means. It's likely best to wait.

what about the navy? anybody?

I know of at least one person that joined USN shortly after immigrating on K-1 (so had conditional GC), soon after he naturalized... So it seems to be possible,

I joined the military( army to be precise) on a conditional card so I can clarify for you. you can join the army or navy with your conditional card but with the air force they would ask for the 10year card. hope this helps, feel free to ask me any question if you need more clarification

Hi OP, you can join the Army, Navy or Marine Corps with a conditional GC. It's in their recruiting manuals when you look them up online. You can also go ask a recruiter. The Air Force does require a 10 year GC so to get in chances are slim.

I've already spoken with a Marine Corps recruiter and I'm looking forward to joining when I get up there.

Can I join Army on CPR if I am divorced?

Had 97 on ASVAB waiting to lose some weight and divorce is imminent. Wanted to go to Airforce but they asked for 10 year card, not sure about ARMY. Kindly please share if anyone divorced while on CPR can join ARMY reserve?

I am not %100 sure but I don't see why not you can't join if you have your divorce decree. you should be fine as long as your CPR hasn't expired yet.

If you divorced btw, you should be removing the conditions on your green card asap and getting your 10 year card.
