The Australian government is warning Pakistani asylum-seekers against attempting to illegally enter the country.

In an advertisement printed in Pakistani newspapers on Friday, the Australian government warned readers against getting duped by people smugglers claiming they can transport them to Australian waters in hopes of getting asylum.

Written in bold at the top of the advertisement are the words: “NO WAY. You will not make Australia home.”

“If you get on a boat without a visa , you will not end up in Australia. Any vessel seeing to illegally enter Australia will be intercepted and safely removed beyond Australian waters,” reads the advertisement.

It adds that the rules apply to all: “Families, children, unaccompanied children, educated and skilled”.

The ad is worded in English, Urdu, Pashto, Dari, and Hazargi languages.

“No matter who you are or where you are from, you will not make Australia home. Think again before you waste your money. People smugglers are lying,” warns the Australian government.

Presumably there are several human trafficking organizations luring Pakistanis...

The Australian Government is implementing the toughest border protection measures ever to combat maritime people smuggling and protect Australia’s borders.

Operation Sovereign Borders (OSB) is a military-led border security initiative to stop the boats, prevent people risking their lives at sea in the hands of criminals, and preserve the integrity of Australia’s immigration program.

Asylum seekers who travel by boat without a visa will not end up in Australia. The rules apply to everyone; families, children, unaccompanied children, educated and skilled. There are no exceptions.

Australia is serious about protecting its borders and will stop anyone who attempts to come illegally by boat.

The OSB Joint Agency Task Force is delivering a range of offshore communication activities to inform people considering travelling to Australia illegally by boat that the rules have changed, they should not believe the lies of people smugglers and there is no way they will make Australia home.

They aren't just saying "No" they are saying "F No"

"You will be transferred within 48 hours to an offshore processing centre in Papua New

Guinea or Nauru. Your claims will be assessed by the Government of Papua New Guinea or

the Government of Nauru.

If you are found not to be a refugee, you will be returned to your home country or a country

where you have a right of residence.

Even if you are found to be a refugee, you will not be resettled in Australia."

How dare them try to keep their country safe from disease, pestilence, uncover terrorists/jihadists, and welfare moochers! To coin a phrase heard here so very often!tumblr_llxkdvW19A1qii6tmo1_400.gif

It is a blessing to actually witness a government with the common sense and courage to establish and enforce immigration laws concerning their citizens security and future tax liabilities. Does someone have the fax number to the Oval Office so that I can forward this to "0" so he can see how it is done?

Send it to your congressman and whilst you're at it, perhaps you could also ask why US employers aren't held to the same standards as Australian employers? Also ask what he/she has done about getting an immigration reform bill through congress, that deals with the millions of illegals already here. Sending them all back at this point is obviously completely unrealistic at this point in time and more likely to do much more harm, than good to the US economy.

By giving the millions of illegals already here any kind of immigration benefits, you just encourage the next wave to come. Then what? Use the same argument? "They're already here" There needs to be a message sent, like Australia is doing, that if you come illegally you will not be allowed to stay. Otherwise, what's the point of having immigration laws if you're not going to enforce them?

Well if you give the ones already here, legal status and make it very expensive to employ future illegals, you will hopefully discourage people from coming in the future without the correct visa. Criminalise employers who break the law, who illegally profit from immigrant labor, and quit going after poor immigrants, who are just trying to get a better life. Edited by InKorea

Wanting a better life is no excuse for breaking the law and should not be rewarded.
