Absolutely. Today is one of these days where I feel really #######. And I am only at day 85. How the hell am I supposed to survive until day 250 at this rate????

Today I hi the 180 days. As I've said before this process is not for the weak at heart. One must be mentally strong or this can break you. So I spent about an hour or two just manually entering receipt number on the USCIS website and was really disgusted with my findings. Found so many August filers who haven't been approved yet. It seems like every time these dang people make sort of progress they turn around and sit on their hands the following month and do absolutely nothing. This made me call USCIS this morning to be the told the same BS that my case is with an adjudicator waiting to be worked on. This is going on for almost two months. I feel like my file is being use a some sort of place mat at this point or maybe being use to hold his/her desk up or something. Maybe my chats logs are just so juicy it's being passed around the office as some how to guide. Whatever it is just approve

what a waste of a year in our relationships. No sugarcoating that. It has been a complete waste and void!

This was my mantra. You don't get this time back. Yes, you move on and carry on with your lives eventually, but TSC has left a bitter taste in my mouth and if they think I'm going to forget what they stole from us, they are wrong!

181 days today. Didn't even realize it had been that long. So difficult to stay strong & optimistic when you feel utterly hopeless. I can't even look at the CSC or Phillipine approvals anymore because it makes me disgusted and angry. And if one more person tells me to find something to keep myself busy because it will make the time go faster I'm going to lose it. I'm training for a half marathon in addition to everything else and guess what? It doesn't make anything go faster! I'm so disgusted with this government right now I can't even stand it.

I dont even actively count, it just depresses me. I just have markers on my calender that tell me when A LOT of time has elapsed - for example today it says 160. Next marker will be at 200. Until then I wont think about it too much. Or at least try to.

Oh I hear you! It falls right up there with "be patient", "hang in there", "you have to wait" .....

There is really nothing anyone can say that helps. So I offer you a little empathy, since I have no constructive advice. It is just plain ridiculous to have to wait so long. And then when you get approved, you have to educate all and sundry and try explain that you haven't even applied for the visa yet. That only comes after the NVC wait. TSC is a mess. Period.

Thank you wbeem! Finally someone who I know understands and doesn't try to give advice that at this point helps nothing! Only if you've been stuck at this pathetic service center can you even possibly begin to know the agony that the couples at TSC feel! Or try to defend the service center processing times discrepancy! This is why I'm only on this thread now. Because I know all of you are the only ones who can truly appreciate how difficult this is.

Yeah, day 194 here. 200 is rapidly approaching. CSC filers continue to see their NOA2 in a matter of a couple of weeks or so and the USCIS continues to deny the discrepancy. Sigh. What was that line from that Bond movie? "I would laugh if my heart was not so heavy." Yeah, that one. Lol

Is what it is.

9/8/14 - I129F petition sent to the USCIS lockbox via USPS
9/11/14 - Petition received @ USCIS lockbox
9/11/14 - NOA1 Email and text message received
9/15/14 - NOA1 Official notice date
9/18/14 - NOA1 hard copy received
12/9/14 - "Updated" likely because of website repairs, like many of us received
4/20/15 - NOA2 text and email (221 days)

4/29/15 - Sent to the NVC (9 days)

5/8/15 - Arrived at the NVC (9 days)

5/13/15 - Left the NVC (5 days)

5/15/15 - Electronic version arrived at the embassy (2 days)

5/20/15 - Paper copy arrived at the embassy (7 days)

6/4/15 - Status changed to AP (which meant that we could schedule the interview)

6/16/15 - Medical

6/17/15 - K1 APPROVED!!!!

6/30/15 - Passport and sealed envelope delivered via courier

I haven't seen anyone defend the service center.

Tomorrow my congressman is following up on my case since they haven't responded to him.

The discrepancy in processing times?! Go read some of the CSC threads. Or the threads where TSC couples are talking about how long they've waited & someone from CSC chirps up and says we should be happy for them. Read some of the threads.
