We just received our approval notice by email at 9:04 pm!!!!!

No email alert, I just decided to check my email for the 30th time tonight as I have been doing for the last two weeks as we also are in the 7 month club with an noa1date of September 19th so we have been waiting 214 days!

I checked uscis.gov just to make sure I wasn't dreaming and sure enough it says we are approved!!!!

I thank my good Lord above, and I pray for all the rest still waiting.

Have faith, the joy of receiving your good news is coming as well.

Hope the news of approvals tonight gives encouragement to those still waiting.

9/8/14 - I129F petition sent to the USCIS lockbox via USPS
9/11/14 - Petition received @ USCIS lockbox
9/11/14 - NOA1 Email and text message received
9/15/14 - NOA1 Official notice date
9/18/14 - NOA1 hard copy received
12/9/14 - "Updated" likely because of website repairs, like many of us received
4/20/15 - NOA2 text and email (221 days)

4/29/15 - Sent to the NVC (9 days)

5/8/15 - Arrived at the NVC (9 days)

5/13/15 - Left the NVC (5 days)

5/15/15 - Electronic version arrived at the embassy (2 days)

5/20/15 - Paper copy arrived at the embassy (7 days)

6/4/15 - Status changed to AP (which meant that we could schedule the interview)

6/16/15 - Medical

6/17/15 - K1 APPROVED!!!!

6/30/15 - Passport and sealed envelope delivered via courier

7/26/16 - "Soft update" on I-765 and I-131 (case received, prior to that case numbers were invalid ), RFIE response received (change of case status)
8/8/16 - Service Request for I-765 submitted, not assigned

8/13/16 - I-765 and I-131 approved!

8/22/16 - Combo card received

9/26/16 - I-485 approved

10/5/16 - Green Card received

Congrats to all of the approvals last night :)

You know, I had four recurring dreams last night where I'd stir and wake up in the middle of the night (in my dream, waking up in my bed, so it was totally realistic) and I'd check my US CIS Case Status app on my phone, and it would say something along the lines of "Your file has been approved and sent to the department of state" (it probably says nothing like that, lol). This dream occurred FOUR TIMES. So when I woke up for real this morning, I thought, "Okay, I feel like this isn't real but hopefully I'm wrong..." I checked...and yeah. Sad trumpet sound.

[ Spring 2005 ] Met online, in-game (WoW)

[ February 2012 ] Finally admitted our true feelings after years of staying hush hush!

[ March 22, 2012 ] Made things official!

[ April 13, 2012 ] Met for the first time in real life and fell in love!

[ July 8, 2014 ] Got engaged!

[ September 10, 2014 ] Filled out paper work

[ September 19, 2014 ] Receipt Date

[ September 23, 2014 ] NOA1

And after 246 hellish days (8+ months) of being trapped in TSC purgatory....

9/16/14 Status Update: Alien Registration # Changed
5/11/15 NOA2 (8:30 pm text, 238 days since NOA1)

6/09/15 Consulate Received (had to call embassy to check)
6/12/15 Packet Received
6/18/15 Packet Completed (had to call/visit embassy to schedule interview)
7/09/15 Interview Completed- APPROVED!! (after delay for US system errors, and rescheduling/postponing 3 times)

7/16/15 Visa In Hand (told to "come back tomorrow" first two times they said it would be ready)

7/18/15 POE Washington, D.C.

8/1/15 Legally Married
8/13/15 Filed for AOJ (also EAD and Travel)

8/20/15 NOA1 for all 3 filings

9/08/15 Bio Appt

9/26/15 Wedding Ceremony!

10/16/15 EAD and AP Approved

10/23/15 EAD Card Received

11/23/15 AOS Approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (no interview, no warning- completely unexpected, but so exciting)

No change to 10 petitions around mine. I wonder who are those other 9 people. They've been waiting as long as I have. 8 months very soon.

I am sure we are one of those 10 ☺. Since 9.9.14. Probably, our cases are on the table of someone who hates his job and doesn't give a $#!t about us. Why would he? ☺

to those september filers still waiting, keep the faith

I also was trying to monitor files with case numbers around ours to see if there was any movement

our case number is src14904356xx

so I was following about 50 k1 visas with numbers between src1490435400 and src1490435700

as we all know the approvals are not sequential they jump all over the place, but at least if your number is within this range, it may encourage you that ours was in that range and they hopefully are working on yours too and your approval is coming soon too!
