Timeline

Well, I'm Sept. 23. I can only force myself to think that I will be approved any day now.

Jesus tap-dancing Christ I hope. I'm headed to Raleigh next week to spend a week with the fiancé, in our future home, and it would be wonderful to have an approval to celebrate together.

[ Spring 2005 ] Met online, in-game (WoW)

[ February 2012 ] Finally admitted our true feelings after years of staying hush hush!

[ March 22, 2012 ] Made things official!

[ April 13, 2012 ] Met for the first time in real life and fell in love!

[ July 8, 2014 ] Got engaged!

[ September 10, 2014 ] Filled out paper work

[ September 19, 2014 ] Receipt Date

[ September 23, 2014 ] NOA1

And after 246 hellish days (8+ months) of being trapped in TSC purgatory....

[ May 27, 2015 ] NOA2 :)

[ September 16, 2015 ] Interview at the US Consulate in Montreal!

Beyond furious. Rich called USCIS 25mins ago, got a person saying the same ####### "you're within processing time (Aug. 23rd), you'll get an update in a couple weeks." he hangs up, and I get the VJ notification that the TSC processing time had been updated to September 18th.. #######!
He called back and is now waiting for a tier 2 officer to call back.. I tried to calm him down, but he is about to go ham on them. Just another proof that they really don't give a flying ** about us, and just tell us whatever so we don't bother call regularly.

I did my waiting! 9 months of it.. IN TSC!

Insist on a service request anyway. William called and put one on for us. We missed the new window by two days and they did it. Of course they never did look at the service request. It remained untouched on our USCIS account and is probably still sitting there. But insist on it. Tell them it's been over seven months.

Well, a Tier 2 officer barely speaking English called Rich back, told him he couldn't access our case because he doesn't work on it.. I wanted to scream "NOBODY works on it, otherwise we wouldn't be calling!" He then asked if we wanted him to put a note to have people looking at why our application is taking so long.. NOOOOO we'll gladly wait another month or two!

I'm so beyond frustrated. Starting tomorrow I'm gonna call and send an inquiry everyday. I don't care if I become THAT person. Enough is enough.

I did my waiting! 9 months of it.. IN TSC!

We never got a message like this.. it just says that it's currently not assigned for processing but with no expiry date. Waiting for tier 2 to call back

Thanks for sticking around! How are things over there? Progress on your case? Will you guys be able to return together?

I'm almost positive a majority get an approval before their service request is even processed but gives me a peace of mind to think that I've done everything I could. I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOUR INTERVIEW! How are you and your child holding up? All good to go?

Only if I knew! No idea why my petition was skipped over, hence the request - so they finally look at it and process it.
