Well, we got a checklist yesterday for our AOS package and for something that doesn't make sense. My joint sponsor put in her savings amount even though she earns enough and they are asking for proof of her savings or ours (which again, doesn't make sense as we need a joint sponsor).

I found out while at the grocery store, had a huge panic attack and i've no idea how i drove home for an hour without crashing. My daughter overheard me on the phone to her dad about it and started crying. I feel so stupid. I should have deleted the extra info knowing they'd be idiots. How can you checklist someone for something that is optional?! My husband is trying to get through to them on the phone today and he is talking with the senator who is on our case. I just hope more than anything that they will allow me to bring the "optional" evidence to the Embassy, because I cannot wait until Feb/March :cry:

They also said to wait 60 "BUSINESS" days for the checklist to be reviewed.

I am just so sad for you and your family. I have been in this position and know that absolutely desolate feeling. I definitely think you need to get your husband to telephone and speak to a supervisor. My heart goes out to you.

Now I need the tears of happiness to stop. I have no idea how this transpired. Perhaps it was due to mine and my husband's phone calls to NVC and the Supervisor's this week. I guess it shows that it can pay off to persevere.

Our only hope now is that all of our VJ friends also get a CC soon and can be back with their loved ones as soon as possible.

Yay! I was hoping with all the packages being reviewed together lately that they'd review your checklist and this bogus email thing together. They seemed to be a few days behind on the packages they reviewed together. But whatever happened, congrats!!
