I dont understand what you mean... Do you mean to say even after interview NO Original documents will be given back, please clarify!!!

The DOS site says the reason for copies is to be able to return the original to you. There is no checklist for copies, but the record DOS keeps will include your original documents. The reason for copies is to return your originals, and if the embassy will accept your copies and compare them to originals is an open question.

Help Needed Urgent!!

anybody please get me out of this dilemma...i have everything ready to go for my AOS package..i have used i864ez...All my income for last three years is stated on my w2s...however in 2012 transcript i have a small interest income. my questions are

i) does this interest income disqualify me from using i864ez

ii) should i inculde that tiny interest in my total income..current it is included in my i864ez..Again its a very tiny tiny part

iii) I am using IRS transcript..do i need to send w2s...(I know the answer is no but just want to confirm) i am over analyzing everything...

Any help is greatly appreciated....Thanks to everybody in advance...

Just got off the phone. Even talked to a supervisor. He wan't very nice (didn't even catch his name). What he said, USCIS doen't necessarily send all the documents to NVC. What a silly mistake I made... Yep, he just said the cursing word "another 60 days". Just shoot me...

Whenever dealing with an agency that handles a ton of applications (NVC, Social Security, DMV), one should not apply logic and deviate from the posted instructions. Of course NVC has everything you sent to the USCIS. It's not part of their field manual to extricate documents from there or make copies of them. Frankly, you don't want them to pull apart your USCIS package. If the interviewing CO suspects missing documents or approval with missing evidence, he or she could easily send the case back to the USCIS... :wow:

Not at all it is perfect. Can you believe they cant see it when I am seeing it. What email gets lost little pieces in the air????? Unbelievable

Actually, it could happen and for a very good reason. Please check that the said scan is not password-protected somehow. If this is the case, then you can see it on your own computer just fine, but no one else would and sending it again as is won't resolve the issue.

21-MAR-2014 I-140 + PP sent to USCIS

31-MAR-2014 Petition approved

16-APR-2014 Case shipped to NVC

29-APR-2014 Case received by NVC

23-MAY-2014 Case # assigned

4-JUN-2014 IV Bill invoiced and PAID (AOS Exempt, DS-261 Waived)

6-JUN-2014 DS-260 forms submitted

10-JUN-2014 IV Docs received by NVC

13-JUN-2014 IV Docs matched to case (scanned)

30-JUL-2014 Case Complete, CC email auto-sent one week later

20-AUG-2014 AOS fee changed to N/A (Final clearance for interview scheduling?)

29-AUG-2014 Consular Interview scheduled on Oct 1st. Later rescheduled to Sep 24th. P4 Letter received following business day

14-SEP-2014 CEAC status changed to Ready

15-SEP-2014 Medical results delivered to Embassy by Panel Physician

24-SEP-2014 Consular Interview, went into AP (3rd AP in as many consecutive visa applications)

14-OCT-2014 Visa issued

22-OCT-2014 POE at Dulles Airport, Washington, D.C.

Thanks for the input. It is not password protected. I had on my 864 a password protected file which they emailed me immediately to release the password. Plus on Saylins wiki she indicates how to make sure they are not. This dicument however is for civil docs on IV docs. But thanks anyways.

Hi Smoochies2011

Look wait and see what some other VJers say but I think this May be a false checklist and your AOS has been accepted. Perhaps call NVC and just clarify with them. Let us know how you go. You have certainly been on this journey a while now but you are near the end so hang in there.

AOS was approved today with no checklist!! Woohoo!

I called because I got a false checklist to fill out the DS-260. We haven't done it yet because I was away for the weekend with no internet. But

I asked if the IV package had been reviewed yet because I thought it was weird that they only sent the list for the DS-260 and not for the IV docs if they hadn't reviewed the package. But no luck! The AOS is done and done!!! And the IV package... "60 days."

Just had a look at your timeline. We are almost scan buddies. My IV checklist, Singapore Police Certificate, was scanned on 29th August. Let's hope the next month flies by.

i dont know how you send the package , but i send it on express service with DHL and was able to track/trace the package the whole time , even from Boston to New Hampshire .

and got a signature-form in my mailbox from DHL , with the signature of the person who signed for the package being delivered at NVC.

better call NVC yourself and ask if they have the package.
