AOS still not reviewed. 48 calendar days since received date today :| hopefully by tonight they will review it!

I have had a big day today.

Original Birth Certificate arrived yesterday. Called NVC today just to see if they may have looked at our AOS checklist but of course they haven't. As an afterthought I asked if the Supervisor Review had been done on my Adoption Certificate. Oh yes they said, it was done on August 20th and it has been found to be acceptable so after all my work I don't need to send them the original. Confirmed this three times with them and then called back to speak to another operator just to double check. Sure enough it has been removed from the Checklist.

Then an hour later my Singapore Certificate arrived. I went into a frenzy - copied it, completed the Checklist pack, drove out to Adelaide Airport to Fed Ex and off went my package. $90.00 later they said it would be at NVC on Wednesday morning, US time. If they can scan it in by Friday - I know I am being optimistic! - we can get the clock ticking and wait for a CC. I feel quite relieved that I don't have to wait for anything else in the mail.

I so hope we can be there for Christmas.

Yay, I am sooooo happy for you! It has been an exciting day for you and everything went great. Now you just wait for the package to be delivered and then case complete. You must be so thrilled to send off that package, like a weight lifted off; it's the little joys in life that keep you kicking... How's your arm?

12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
7/1/2014: Case received at NVC.
7/14/2014: NVC case number assigned.
8/1/2014: AOS and IV fees invoiced.
8/2/2014: AOS and IV fees paid.
8/5/2014: AOS and IV fees status changed to paid.
8/6/2014: AOS and IV packages mailed, completed and submitted DS-260.
8/7/2014: AOS and IV packages delivered to NVC.
8/8/2014: AOS and IV packages put into the system (scanned).
9/20/2014: Get the 60-day email.
9/30/2014: Case Complete!
10/3/2014: Interview scheduled for November 7.
10/20/2014: Medical appointment.

11/07/2014: Interview.

Weren't they reviewing it around 45 calendar days despite saying 60 days for review? :(

Yeah they do go plus minus 5 days usually :( I m hoping today they review it.

helllo! can u pls help me here.. i have a quick question about iv package.. i have included before crba, with others documents during i-130 my us citizen daughter who lives with me ). is it advisable to submit again during this time?

i am a permanent resident in canada and someone mentioned somewhere that PR card has to be included.

thank you and i will be submitting my iv package at breaktime though my package is not complete like i need that checklist for police clearance in singapore.. yay! i am looking forward to hear from you all guys. thanks.

Question, does a check list mean you need to wait the standard 30-60 business day review all over again? How much of a delay does it add?

03/28/2014 - I-130 mailed to Chicago Lockbox

04/07/2014 - USCIS Received I-130 form

04/08/2014 - I-130 NOA1 and transferred to California Service Center (email) (11 days)

04/17/2014 - Received NOA1 in the mail from California Service Center (hardcopy) (8 days)

04/24/2014 - I-130 Approved NOA2 (case number updated on the website 4:50pm) (17 days)

05/20/2014 - Received NOA2 in the mail from California Service Center (hardcopy) (27 days)

06/09/2014 - Case number, INN, BNN Received (21 days)

06/09/2014 - DS-261 available and completed (21 days)

06/09/2014 - AOS fee invoice and paid (21 days)

08/13/2014 - IV fee invoice and paid (65 days)

08/28/2014 - AOS Package sent to NVC

09/03/2014 - DS-260 online form completed

11/20/2014 - Website shows AOS N/A N/A which means it's possibly accepted. (Unconfirmed)

11/20/2014 - Called NVC and was informed of Case Complete!!

Medical - Scheduled for Dec 16th 2014

Interview

12/3/2014 - Email received with interview appointment for December 9th 2014

12/9/2014 - Interview went well but not approved because of birth certificate name change. Approval after fingerprint police form.

12/30/2014 - Medical and police check sent to embassy

Visa issued Jan 5th 2015 :D

5.5 months in NVC

8.5 months total
