Rightly so . . .

"If a country wants to fully participate in U.S. immigration programs, they should also comply with all security and counter-terrorism measures — because we do not want to import terrorism or any other national security threat into the United States," Gidley said in a statement.

It does make sense but at the end of the day it sucks that there will be innocent parties caught out in all of this after such a long wait. Sad.

And it will most likely only be certain classes of visas or diplomats.

Anyone get any welcome letter recently whose priority date is after March 16, 2015. My priority date is May  2015.
Kindly post the date welcome letter was received as well as the priority date.  At least, will have an idea how far the dates have reached from the visa bulletin.
Thanks in advance.

Hi All,

My i-130 application (F2B category) got approved by USCIS Vermont on 27th November 2019. My PD is Oct 2013. The document has mentioned that NVC will contact me within 30 days. It has been more than eight weeks, I still haven't heard back from NVC

I have tried mailing them and my mom and legal advisor have tried to contact them on phone. But of no avail.

This brings me to my following queries:

Is there any way to know the present status of my case? Can the process be expedited?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Ankit
